"So, any luck finding leads?" Troy spoke as he made his way over to the table, sitting down across from Ana. "Other than previous recorded locations, I haven't found a thing." He had reported Bathos to the guard of Summerheim as agreed, handing over the map and rune so they could investigate properly. It was off his mind, and he was focused entirely on his currently failing search for leads to the god slayer.

Ebony ventured on her way even with her heart full of desire. She wanted to go with them...but...would Megan's friends be as accepting?

Megan said "Well, the mines are east from Summerhelm, should be about a two day journey"

“Unfortunately,” Ana sighed. “At the very least, I know how to navigate the city. It’ll be pretty dangerous there now though. Maybe we could try here,” she said, tapping the town of Tetsu.

“Hey, I just saw one of the dragons you competed against in Radiance,” Gilly said, pointing to where she’d disappeared.

“Small town, big infernal worshippers,” Ana said.

Ebony stopped in her tracks as Orochi paused, and her fist visibly clenched.

"Ebony?" Megan said as Ebony went to run but Megan reached out her hand, and the warmth from that day came back as she slowly approached. Ebony paused as Megan smiled a little "So you're moving to Summerhelm."

Ebony nodded "Yeah..." She looked at Orochi who was glaring daggers. "I haven't found any luck finding a job though"

Without hesitation Megan asked "Well...you wanna walk with us for a little bit?" Ivan looked at Megan quietly as Orochi suddenly glared at her.

Orochi said "That's not why I have a problem with it. Why her?" Orochi's words echoed the sentiment.

Ebony looked at Megan as she nodded, Ebony hugging her tightly crying like crazy. "You are to good for this world!"

Megan felt Ebony's power in the bear hug and said "And I'm not long for it if you keep squeezing"

"Why you?" Gilly replied. "Why us?" she asked, gesturing between her and her father.

"It would require disguises, but I'd imagine we'd be able to keep your shield summoning a part of the ensemble," Ana said.

"Hopefully we won't need it though." Troy pointed out. "If you think you've got it figured out, I'll trust you on it. You're the expert here."
