ALyssa sat down a bit as Kaos sat near her. She smiled at the other guard saying "I really hope this goes well, I really have a good feeling about this"

Grim sighed "We can't..." he rubbed his temple "We can't ensure that anywhere, but he can't stay here"

Aliester said "I'm sorry, but we'll have to go with more than that. She's shown already she's not above regicide to get her revenge." He carried on and said "So unless you provide something, I can't in all good consciousness say..."

"Councilman Fenier" Grim said quietly "Didn't his brother used to live in the Lost Woods?"

"Yeah, Julius is Fenier's body guard. His strength is unbelievable" Aliester said "I know where you're going with this but...I still need more Grim."

“Nothing out of the ordinary,” Ryker confirmed.

“Really?” Elind asked. “No, but...send her to Selena, rather than to me.”

”That’s all rather complicated. I was thinking more along the lines of you taking a mage with you, one that can use communication spells and light magic to give you some help against this...Lady of the Shadows if need be,” Roland said. 

"Then let us head back to this inn you were staying at, then onward to the guard post." Percival ordered, waiting for Ryker to lead the way.

"So, to the library, or is she elsewhere to your knowledge, my liege?" The guard asked. He would need to inform Selena ahead of time as well, so no confusion arose.

Aliester said "Be careful"

Grim stated "I'll go grab the boy and his horse."

"Roland" ALiester said looking at him "GIve us the best you got"

ALyssa saw she wasn't going to get an answer.

"Yes, sire," Roland replied, going to seek out the mage he had in mind. Not that he would be excited to know he would be spending an undetermined amount of time trapped in the woods with Grim and his apprentice, but he'll have to deal with it.

Elind nodded, leaning back as she considered why the child of Elizabeth was showing up now.

Selena was working quietly in the library on the latest volume of her encyclopedia.

Ryker arrived at the inn after a bit. "Should I just grab all my stuff or keep the room?" he asked.

"We shouldn't have need to flee, if all goes well. I see no reason to plan to run." Percival replied.

"That's a no." Galahad added.

The guard soon knocked on the door to the library, opening the door afterwards to confirm if Selena was in there or not.

Aliester sighed "I see" he looked out and said "I can see why, I miss the boy too."

“None moreso than me and mine, Sire,” Roland agreed quietly. Jenna’s entirely personality had shifted since he left, and she barely ever said more than a few words in a day.

Selena looked up, a bit surprised. “Oh, hello, what can I do for you?” She asked.

Ryker tried to be quick about grabbing his stuff, slinging his cloak around his shoulders as he headed back down.

The two knights waited, otherwise silently, for Ryker to return.

"A woman claiming to be an Alyssa Azorah is waiting outside to have an unprompted meeting with the queen. The queen has instead asked that I send her your way, and I wished to make this known to you before I did so." The guard explained.

Alyssa was playing with Kaos a little bit to pass the time.

Ryker nodded. "I am," he said.
