Cyril escorted them across the courtyard and through the grand double doored entrance. Inside they traversed down a hallway and turned away from another huge pair of doors (presumably the throne room) into another, smaller door. On the other side they came to witness an absolutely astounding dining hall decorated with marble sculptures. In the centre awaited a large table with king Cordius sat at the end. To his left and right there was 2 empty seats each. Beyond those seats spanning the table sat various noblemen and assistants to the king. Cyril's seat was noticable, empty at the end of the table. There seemed to be no queen present. Cyril held the door open and gestured for the guests to enter. The king noticed them and waved them over with a welcoming grin. Noctixmo examined the room before entering and approaching the table. A few beady eyed guards were eyeballing his blade from under their helmets.
