Mickey was busy filling her plate as well, she loved Garret and Raven's cooking, but this was just lavish.

"I will keep that in mind, thank you for the suggestion." Galvin nodded.

Cordius looked to Justine, "As in what Jaarus has willed? Each God has a crystal housing much of their exhausted power from a clash long, long ago. If this crystal is destroyed, we believe it will destroy the God. Fate has decreed you heroes will be the ones who destroy the God of discord's cystal, and free this world from his corruption." He took a sip from his glass, "I'd imagine then you would be able to return home."

"So where can I find Kahn and this 'crystal'?" Noctixmo spoke up, his arms folded.

"Kahn is not to be trifled with." Cordius warned, "Much like Jaarus, he will have his chosen. Cruel warriors who would act upon his twisted will." He sighed, "You must best them in order to get to the crystal. Jaarus was said to have once spoken to my ancestors long before falling into slumber. He was said to have stated that with the defeat of a God's chosen, the crystal would weaken and become closer to being vulnerable. We've yet to witness Kahn's awakening, but with Jaarus coming forth it cannot be far away." He seemed slightly unnerved before regaining his smile.

"And Kahn's champions, they'll be pulled from other worlds, like us?"

"Indeed." The king confirmed, "And I shudder to think just who catches the chaos God's eye."

Cordius took a breath, "We can confirm it's hidden in the capital of Oslana. Oslana is the tainted lands of this world. Very different from what you've seen so far. These corrupted places are inhabited by the Daemons, a twisted race created by Kahn from men. Be wary, they are savages."

"It is likely the same rule of weakening the crystal applies to us, yes? So we do not need to guard it until at least one of us falls." Galvin suggested.

Cordius nodded at Galvin's speculation but interjected, "However I wouldn't think in such a mindset. Who's to say any of you fall? Order will triumph over corruption my friend. I have faith in you all. Focus on defeating Kahn's chosen, and you shall succeed - nobody would remain to defend it, no?"

Cordius frowned slightly as he thought, "Hm. I suppose only destroying the crystal after the fall of its protectors. Of course, if you'd ever wish to lend a helping hand in anything it would be more than welcome." He seemed more serious for a moment as his tone changed, "We and the Daemons are at an uneasy standstill currently. There's been no official deceleration of treaty between the two nations binding them from attempting an assault. There's no telling if they will ever try and make a move on our cities. The results of any hostility could prove... Disastrous to both sides."

Cyril watched the group as the king discussed the topic with an eyebrow raised. 

Cordius seemed concerned at the notion of war, "We'd best hope it doesn't. I am confident we could defend ourselves from the savages, but the cost would be dear." His eyes then lit up, "Although if you would do my kingdom, perhaps even the nation of Arrendar the honour of lending us your blade, I would forever be in your debt." He gave a warm look of approval to Galvin, "I would never dare to ask the chosen of Jaarus intervene with our own affairs when they have such a dire quest ahead of them... But you would certainly be doing all of mankind a huge act of kindness."

Justine glanced at Mickey, not too sure if she wanted to.

Noctixmo looked up at this talk about 'demons' and what was slowly starting to sound more and more like conscription to him, "I'm only here to do what I was meant to do. But... When you say 'Demons'..."

Cordius looked to Noctixmo, "You mean they have them where you're from too? How strange, if tragic."

Noctixmo frowned, having been close with many Demons in their uprising against a common enemy, "I don't think they're the same thing." He mumbled before finishing his drink.
