Will had nothing left to say, and stayed quiet.

"I'm just saying, you have help if you want it," Ryker said. "It'd help us though, if we knew friendly faces and names."

"I-" Eli sighed, hesitant but soon spoke again. "There's a few of us, not many, but the guard as a whole isn't too big here. There's a friend of mine, he just got demoted from lieutenant for starting a fight with one of our less than kind coworkers. He should be on solo duty at the jail house right now. Get him on board for this plan, and I might be willing to stick my neck out for this. He has more sway among the guard than I do, so," Eli gave a less than enthusiastic shrug. "You'll need him regardless."

Eric walked up behind Kira and said "Come on, just let her be"

Kira said "I'm sorry..."

Eric was quiet and said "What do you have to apologize for?"

"I shouldn't have come into your life" Kira said quietly "Amelia's right...I'm a traitor...scum..." she was very silent as she said "Excuse me" as she left the room entirely as Eric followed her.

Veronica said "You sure you don't want me to come"

Bair got on Nightmare and said "I'll be fine."

Ryker nodded, watching Eli disappear before heading back inside.

Amelia watched Kira and Eric leave, concerned for her brother, but was quickly swept back into the celebration.

"Looks like it went well enough?" Percival asked, as if he didn't already know. "I hope he's not going to get more guards."

Veronica held her head as she groaned in pain. She then paled and struggled against the bindings of shadows that ecompused her. She heard a female voice in the distance go "Don't struggle, I'll make it tighter and you won't live to see justice delivered"

Veronica asked "Ju...Justice? What are you talking about? What justice?"

She coughed wildly as she felt the shadows grip her neck only to let go causing her to gasp for air. From the shadows revealed the shape of a woman, she spoke saying "You wouldn't know...your boy toy is who killed her"

"Are you talking about...Inora?" Veronica stated with a clear rasp in her voice.

The Woman said nothing, didn't move, didn't say anything else for a little bit, yet it said...everything.

Meanwhile Aliester was losing his mind in rage as he was told the news as Zephyra stood up with her "I want every mage scrying for her, all Enforcers scowering the land, no one is going to harm my baby girl!"

Zephyra stated "Someone get the Council Members to Aid us...and as for Bair..someone..."

"Keep him in the dark" stated Grim firmly "He'll be to emotional, he'll complicate things"

Aleister growled and said "LT Grim! My Kingdom, My Rules! Someone find Bair and tell him what's going on! I need every capable hand to find my daughter alive!"

Eric looked at the crowd but followed Kira who just increased her speed giving a clear sign she wanted to be alone.

"He was lieutenant before," Ryker said. "Demoted for standing up to stuff."

("as she left the room entirely as Eric followed her." So they did leave)

"Sounds like he might be alone at the jail then, possibly punishment duties." Percival remarked. "We should get there as soon as possible, lest we miss our chance and blow our cover to boot." He continued, moving toward the door to leave. Galahad followed behind.

ALiester stated "Good work, please hurry..." trembling while looking at the book. "If something were to happen to Veronica..."

Veronica asked "Then...why?"

"I told you" was Morgan's cold response "He'll find out...then come here. When he does...prepare to die" which caused Veronica's look of terror to skyrocket "I'll make him know how it feels"

Ryker stepped outside, glancing around the streets once more as he waited on the sidewalk for the other two.

"Don't even consider it sir. Right now, we need to find and keep Bair out of trouble," Roland said. "He is a risk to himself and Veronica if he doesn't stay with us. Running off will help no one."

As the three stepped outside, Percival closed the door and asked "Well, do you know where the jail is?" to Ryker.
