Emily paused a bit and looked at the presents "Well it's on the list. Maybe she wanted to surprise you today too like Prince Eric and I did" looking for an unopened box.

(Just for context, you said Kira gave Emily the gift last night on the last page, not Amelia)

Amelia looked at the pile quietly as well.

Ryker hoped Percival and Galahad would eventually show up, slightly worried they would split town without another word.

"So what's your sort?" Delsin asked Ryker.

"Just one drink." Percival requested of Galahad as they slowly made their way toward the inn.

"No." Galahad replied, not interested in humoring the idea.

"I'm not asking you to do any fire dancer tricks, just share a drink to satisfy everyone."

"I'm not here to satisfy anyone, I'm here to turn the tide of a war everyone thinks is lost."

Emily was quiet seeing what it was... it was a broach... a beautiful one at that. It was gold and had sapphires embedded into it, heart shaped, and looked like it must have costed a fortune. There was a note saying "To my future sister- Happy 18th- Kira"

"Whiskey sounds right up my alley," Ryker said. "Nothing fancy needed."

Amelia studied it quietly, a little confused why Kira had opted for sapphires when it was emeralds and greens she had preferred for so long, but grateful nonetheless. "Pretty," she remarked quietly, before setting it aside. At least it wasn't anything related to what she had suggested at breakfast this morning.

"Alllright, now we're talkin', Ryker." Delsin called over to the barkeep "A good whiskey f'er the town here o'er here! An' ale f'er ma'self too!"

Percival and Galahad stopped outside the inn, the knight of fire refusing to back down on the matter. "I will not partake, Percival. It is not important."

"Establishing rapport and being a friendly face the people can trust IS important, Galahad." Percival countered. "You'll never be able to lead these people if you refuse to associate with them."

Emily looked at it "It looks different from any of the brooch's I've seen. "

Ryker smiled, nodding his head in thanks. "I did it gladly, thank you," he said, taking his drink. He couldn't help his smile in this moment, grateful he was able to help his town as he was able to, grateful those two were here to help him. This is what he wanted to do, help others that needed it.

"Do you see a lot of brooches?" Amelia asked, looking over. It didn't look that out of the ordinary, so she wasn't sure why Emily was making such a big deal over it. It was pretty, would match some dresses, she'd wear it.

The bartkeep nodded, leaving them to their drinks so he could serve others.

"Ah, there's the other two!" Delsin called over to Percival and Galahad. "We're apprec'it'ain ya too lads, ge'd in here!" He called over, the two knights coming over to join the table.

"Already getting started, I see?" Percival asked Ryker.

"Well ged'din here an' get'cha a drink! Both'a ya!" Delsin waved at them to sit down in the two open seats, which they did.

"I'm in the mood for wine, honestly." Percival spoke, looking to Galahad. "Nothing too heavy, I'm not much of a drinker."

"Just one glass of wine for me, I'm not looking to get drunk." Galahad stated. He was going to regret this, he knew he would. He got drunk much faster due to his higher body temperature and the internal evaporation of alcohol it caused, so he had to be very careful with his alcohol intake.

"I'll split the rest with ya, I'm not so fancy to have more than one glass of whiskey," Ryker said to Percival as he chuckled.
