Ryker grimaced slightly, regretting that slip up. "A lot of people contributed to Inora falling, people just like to focus on the fact that Bair delivered that final blow and faced her head on. He would've never been able to get there himself without the aid of the rest of us," he said evenly, not keen on spilling that he'd been in that fight too. When he did before, nobody believed him anyways. Not likely to change here. His side felt like it ached with a phantom pain at the memory of Inora's claws piercing though him, but he pushed that out of his head, forgetting for the moment that Percy could see into his mind.
"Ah right, that old "One for all" adage they stick too over there," Gendry said.
"Depends on the job, and what you want. If you want to be paid directly, just tell them that," Suzanne said. "Not a lot of strong guys like you in Arcana, they probably need help with guard work. Whiiiich is mainly magic based," she added quickly. "They'll teach you some basic protection spells but for the most part you'll use your magic. I can get Gendry to talk to you about a job, he's connected everywhere in this city."
Will entered onto the hallway the library was on, heading there with a tired and irritated expression on his face, ignoring anyone else in the hallway.
"I was ordered to do this, I'm getting paid to do this, no need to thank me," Hypha said, still not looking at Grim. "Just get the kid trained with your fancy hero shit so we can all go home."
