He sighed and said "Operative Shade worries me, I have no doubt about her claims but...I fear that she may be becoming over confident in her victories. Confidence is a great weapon but arrogance is always a weakness. I want to teach her some humility"

The Bartender snapped his fingers as every blaster that could be pointed at him from the bar suddenly pointed at Garfield.

Jade looked at Trick and asked "How do we plan on doing this trap?"

Aiden was quiet saying "I don't owe you anything other than the warning I gave you"

(I have to agree here, Dillon, you're picking a fight and forcing suspicion for no reason. I highly doubt this cantina is attacking everyone that walks through this door, that would be bad for business. Especially the high quality business that can be gotten from a Mandalorian. Be suspicious, sure, he's a mandalorian, but to converge the entire cantina on him makes no sense.

To be honest, you're railroading this thread super hard in favor of all of your stuff, and your opinions. With this cantina stuff, and with the Shade situation as well. Aiden made a comment, and got shot for it, and now Dangres is making the SAME EXACT COMMENT. I think you're forgetting, that Shade isn't under Dangres, she just travels with him, and works alongside him if she isn't on orders, but she answers to Mitera only. More or less, she's almost on the same footing as Dangres, the only reason she isn't is because she isn't a sith. But he doesn't command her. And in what world is pride looked down upon among the Sith, and the Dark Side? It's getting increasingly frustrating in this thread, you're choking the life out of it by trying to control it and make it the way you want instead of interacting with us and working with us.)

(I don't mean to get upset, but I'm frustrated. I took a character you asked me to take, and play her the way I want to, and suddenly your characters are all about "punishing" and "Humbling" her for doing her fucking job as she's been ordered by Mitera)

Anyway, i wasn't really looking for garfield to show off how strong he is, there's plenty of thread for that, I wanted to show garfield can negotiate, and I could also play into the beggarkill thing I had at the start of the thread where his imprisonment is a really solid favor for the hutts since he personally wronged them. This kinda forces me to participate in a long fight-only arc that I hadn't really planned him to stick all the way through, unless garfield just says "well, I tried" and leaves with Tick, which he wont)

Rachala looked at Garfield as the Bartender started to sweat nervously. "Hgwatha isn't here" he repeated, which was true.

Dangres gave his report "Thrax arrived on schedule, Aiden is still showing his loyalty in his own way by trying to keep Shade safe even when she doesn't need it, Oleana is still as helpful as she has been, and Shade's confidence in herself always seems to be proven. As for myself, I've taken the time to explore a bit...refamiliarize myself for your will."

"Find anything interesting?" Mitera queried.

Shade put her gun away after a moment, sitting down quietly. Bunch of pompous assholes.

Garfield sighed. "Anything you do know, then?"

Tick nodded slowly in understanding. He then looked down to his traps. "Not all live." He spoke, not wanting to dismantle these very lethal traps now.

Thrax didn't say anything else, remaining where he was as he enjoyed the silence.

Dangres stated "He wanted to test me, to see if I was worthy of you. I spared him, but I gave him a demonstration. I fear this might be a common occurance...I might not be so generous next time it happens."

Jade started to think about that and said "Fair enough, might make the ones we do let live talk"

The Bartender said "The Great Hgwatha has control over this section of Ryloth. Even the Jedi at the Camp think they are safe when he has the best Bounty Hunters to do his bidding"

"You should not have been so generous in the first place," Mitera said. "The moment they begin to question you, you must silence the dissent, otherwise their voices will only grow louder as they feel they can stand further against you."

"And who are you, exactly?" Garfield asked, looking to the stranger that just spoke up. She looked capable, so he needed to be wary of her.

After a few minutes Tick stepped back, satisfied with his work.

Dangres asked "Of course, what is your will my master"

The Bartender said "Miss Rachala..."

“It is nearing time for several Sith Lords to take apprentices. I want you to run the students eligible through mock trials,” Mitera said.

"Well I have an investment in those jedi, so I need them alive." Garfield replied. "So back off the twi'leks, and the jedi will be out of your hair without a problem with them or me."
