Oooooh now a fantasy western I can get behind. I don't think we should do any big fancy magics, definitely a power cap, but I think that could be fun.

Yeah I'm fine with it, we can do mostly the same thing but with magic, monsters and shit. Maybe the untamed west has some monsters that need clearing out occasionally, or some towns fully domesticate wild beasts for burden carrying, home defense, maybe even for further domesticating the wilds.

I’m actually down with this being a hard to tame Wild West. With corrupt “law” and the Peacemakers being the only true good guys (so to speak)

Also think we both A. Need more gangs and B. Have the gangs specialize in some sort of magic.

Say except two: The Peacekeepers and the Reapers. Neither are masters of the mystical but they focus on a wide variety of magic not just a certain subsection. (Jack of All Trades. Master of None)

Swamp Folk is easy...Voodoo...but...the others I'm running a blank.

Peacemakers and Reapers are Jack of All Trades Masters of None. They use a variety of magic and non magic to their advantage.

Could be interesting if this was just a couple of towns and instead of gangs they’re big name families, super expansive. Maybe there’s a long standing blood feud between the shadow magic Franklin family and the Boudreaux swamp family who practices voodoo and blood magic. Powerful matriarchs or patriarchs and aunts and uncles and cousins galore with powerful magic following their family bloodline. Could create a rich family or two and then the peacemakers and reapers on the outside

Sooooo are we doing gangs or families cause you said gangs for most of that post, besides the reapers ans the peacemakers as I said. 

Also I think we’re missing a big glaring obvi in that the Franklin’s could be vampires but I’m begging no wolves. IF we make them vampires though, I’m taking the matriarch of the family. 

@equi Since I want the son to be about 5 when the Riders broke up...and he'll be just turning 21 so... that would give a grand scale time frame of about 17 years since the break up. The gang road together for about 25 years.
