"You should leave the room some, Mac," Garret suggested.

"Yes, but you come back immediately and don't leave otherwise."

"That wasn't your fault, Mac, it happened while she was sleeping, what could you have done?" He asked quietly.

"We can't focus on the what ifs, she's alive right? She hasn't gotten any worse the past week," He looked at the sleeping Mickey.

"It's alright to break every now and then, no one will judge you for it. She's your girlfriend, man," Garret tried. He didn't want to bother him for too long, just make sure he was okay.

"we're here for you," Garret assured him. "I'll come back with some food later,"

"Should be, Raven's cooking," He nodded and with a wave, left. He shut the door behind him and lingered a bit. For Mac's sake...he hoped Mickey would return soon...or let them all move on and..pass quietly.

Garret returned to the kitchen, seeking out Raven.

Garret entered the kitchen. "Hey,"

(Yeah I know, just saying "stay positive" for over a week straight leading to her death would make Mac triggered to the infinite degree and beyond after everything they've been through.)
It could work. A bite. That's all it took for Garret to turn him, and look at how powerful he was. If he turned someone, could they gain some kind of power that would help? It had to be a possibility, right?
