The guard shrugged. The door near him opened a moment later. "Yeah I'll tell her the good news real quick, see you in a few." Came the familiar voice of Hathor, not Sekhmet. Over the week it became clear the difference between Hathor and Sekhmet. They talked, and even sounded, different from each other. Hathor was kind, caring and condescending to a fault. She referred to her boss as Maahes, and her voice was higher pitched. You could practically hear the smile on her face. Sekhmet on the other hand was aggressive, slightly lower pitched and less than kind. She referred to Maahes as "The boss" most of the time and it was obvious now that Sekhmet was who broke into Andy's house prior, hiding her face away and pretending to be something she wasn't. Hathor stepped inside and waved at Skyla. "How's our favorite, and only," she mumbled the last part in a joking lower pitch that resembled Sekhmet's, "prisoner?" She asked with a smile.
"It is." Brett replied, thinking.
"Any luck with your people?" Kenny asked.
"Nothing useful. What about the rest of the council?" Brett asked.
"I heard one of them has some results, but nothing concrete yet. I'm waiting for a report back from him." Kenny replied. "We're still in a safe situation right now. Nothing points to the location of our base, none of our men have been captured, staying quiet and gathering info is the best option for sure."
"Yeah, I've only got my best on the streets. I don't want to risk it." Brett agreed.
