Skyla gave a hollow laugh. “I don’t blame Brett, no. It’s no one’s fault but my own,” she said.

Tyler glanced outside. “It’s not good to get kids involved in this at all,” He said.

"Well uh, hm, it might be my fault for not doing enough research..." Hathor mumbled, rubbing her left arm. She quickly shook her head and stood up, raising a hand in a fist. "But! The important thing is that once all this passes, you've still got a life you can live! That's something to look forward to, right?"

"It's not, no." Seker agreed. "Even if they're willing to."

"Now your sister would want you to be safe and not go after her. Leave that to me. Getting in the crossfire is one thing, but it's another to blindly search for her with no experience in the local area," Rose spoke.

Jason placed his hand on Andy's shoulder but Andy knocked it off but Jason continued "Then Mr. Falconettie, use your head. Does screaming angerly like a toddler get your way?"

Andy paused his fury doubling but Jason continued "For the sake of Skyla, calm your ass down. You won't be able to help her like this. If anything you'll become something she'll hate. I'm not saying you shouldn't get your rear end in gear about Carpinello. However right now think of the here and now. Skyla is in trouble and you love her right?" Andy's shoulders started to relax "Then please man, think about helping her first. Okay?"

Andy let out a sigh and said "okay"

Skyla couldn’t help the half a smile. “Alright.”

“I’m not inexperienced,” Itsumi said quietly, glowering. “I’ve killed 32 officers and rescued two families while you’ve been hiding in the sewers,” She sniffed. They definitely smelled like theyd been in the sewers for a few days. “I’ve been training with the Yakuza my whole life, fuck off with that. Tell your boss man if he wants to find me, follow the sounds of someone actually doing something on these streets.” She turned and walked off, the cat padding after her.

Tyler watched the interaction, biting his lip. A plan was forming, piece by piece.

Tyler waited for Rose to return inside, hands in his pockets.

Itsumi twisted through the streets, keeping to the shadows. Stupid adults, thinking they’re better than her.

”Uh..” Skyla thought. She couldn’t think of anything besides wanting to sort everything out, which was impossible. “Not that I can think of.”

Tyler had decided to drive, getting out now after a cursory glance. He was still thinking about Skyla's little sister, and how helpful she may be after all.

Tyler got out, walking around to open the door for Rose. "You okay? You've been awfully quiet," He asked.

Rose was definitely having second thoughts after speaking with Skyla's sister. "Overthinking I'm afraid," she nodded her head as a gesture of thanks.
