"Can I just have a water please," Mimi said to Andy.

Skyla listened, enraptured.

Andy poured Mimi some water as Kelly sat next to Sapphire. "Sapphy...what did you do?"

"Well I sort of gave them the start up money for this place" Sapphire admitted.

"You better not be holding it over them" Kelly said with another deep glare as Kim went back to work. Though Andy glared at Sapphire himself with that.

Sapphire protested "I'm not! I just didn't want this place to become another Black Dirt base. I figured Jason and Kim were the best options to run it." She took a drink "It was a win win, the Black Dirt can't have this place for their own ends, and Jason and Kim get a happy little business. Clubbing is popular in this town, always has been since the 1920's"

Kelly sighed "Am I ever going to meet this "Black Dirt"?" Starting to get skeptical of it actually being a thing.

Andy chimed in "Pray you don't..." as he went to serve another customer.

"Charming guy..." Kelly said with a sigh.

Sapphire said "He's the owner's brother" Kelly giving her an ah as a response. "He also used to be the most powerful crime boss in this city" that got Kelly to spit take a little.

"Yeah, I regret ever moving here." Bella replied. "Nothing but trouble since I got here."

Set sighed, and the sound of the video stopped. After a moment, the violin playing started again.

"Really?" Mimi asked curiously. "Any pointers? I'm still unpacking, but I don't know what to do around here."

Skyla wanted to listen more, but felt like she was overstaying her welcome. She took a step back, trying to keep quiet, but being drunk meant she was not as coordinated as she wanted to be, and she stumbled into the wall. "Oh, oof," she mumbled.

“Shit, seriously?” Mimi asked, frowning. “I heard it was bad but...not outright gang war bad.”

“Are you kidding, it’s amazing,” Skyla said, turning to look back at the door. Unbeknownst to her, she’d slipped into Japanese in her drunken state.

"Yeah, I'm lucky I had a friend to hide with, it was pretty crazy. What made you wanna move here in the first place if you knew it was bad? Got family here or somethin'?" Bella asked.

"Oh, that sounds like Skyla. Sorry, I don't know whatever language that was, dear." Set spoke.

"It's not a good place to be, once me and my boyfriend save up enough money we're getting out of here." Bella remarked. "Cheap rent ain't worth it if you've got a good chance of getting robbed."

"Oh, don't worry if you're a bit...inebriated, as long as you don't try to break into my room you're far from the worst I've heard." Set remarked with a giggle.

Kelly said "Just got old?"

Sapphire shrugged "Who knows?" even though she knew quite well. Jason performed just as she predicted.

"I'll...stick to my own then, although it seems like this club is already somewhat affiliated," Mimi observed.

"Fuuuck, you're telling me," Skyla said, walking closer once more. "I don't know how to trust anyone down here, I mean...they kidnapped me. And now I work with them. For them. Whatever," she huffed.

Andy said "Can you please?"

Sapphire paused "Oh sorry..." looking at Kelly. "There was this other old guy that just died too...Carpinello."

Kelly asked "What was he like?"

"Holier than thou hypocrite who quite frankly was annoying and deserved what he got in the end." Sapphire said casually taking a drink. Andy snickered a bit, on that they could all agree in earnest.

Kelly stated "So I'm guessing the guy who offed him was my cellmate?"

"Tyler was your cellmate?" was Sapphire's confused response.

"The first mix gender prison of it's kind, to house the worst of the state" was the mocking tone Kelly gave.
