Kim sighed "If that was all she was doing I wouldn't have gotten angry. Selling drugs in this town is to be expected...but stooping to taking them was where I drew a line"

Elizabeth looked at Rose and asked a very awkward question "So is this your girlfriend or something?"

Elizabeth shrugged "It's just, my big brother hasn't really shown this much interest in one of the new people before...so I thought..."

"I think she has a lot of potential" Andy said, red himself but maintaining his cool. "I want to sort of...take her under my wing, like your grandpa did for me"

Elizabeth said "If you say so..."

"Don't worry about the heat..." Andy said with a smirk "They're kind of used to it when it comes to Elizabeth's confrences"

"Sadly..." Elizabeth said with a groan.

"Less groaning more walking" commented Andy on that regard

"It's so boring!" Elizabeth complained.

"Still," Tyler sighed. "Just...you'll see at her apartment," He said.

Maybe she should finish her last year in community college too. Rose followed the little girl in.

Kim and Jason walked in, Kim having the key. She sighed as she looked around at what she saw. Jason had wide eyes, what happened here?

It was a standard affair, the teacher saying that Elizabeth was doing fine on the tests but homework was pulling down her grade. She needs to pick up on that.

The apartment was lit dimly by a lamp on a desk covered with open sketchbooks and textbooks from the local community college. A blue graduation cap was hanging haphazardly from the lamp. But the focal point was the massive mural painted on the wall above the messy bed. It was Kim on her motorcycle, Violet sitting behind her, purple hair streaming out behind her as they rode away from Facina. Violet looked ecstatic in the painting, and the word "Someday" was written across the top in Violet's loopy handwriting. Other features of her room included an easel wth a half finished painting of a psychedelic cat and a box marked bail money. Her closet was where she kept her clothes and paint supplies.

"You know I'm right here, right?" Rose responded.

Kim and Jason grabbed some boxes and tied them to their bikes riding back.

"Sorry" Andy said with a smile "Mr. Falconettie wants to make sure his Granddaughter has a choice in what life she lives, her own life or...you know...THE Life"

Tyler set Violet in his bed, making sure to put a glass of water on the bedside table and a trash can beside the bed. "Just call if you need me," he said and she nodded weakly. He headed back downstairs to the cafe.

Tyler was sweeping up the remaining glass shards inside.
