There's only so much I can take.. I am...kind of getting tired of Scott insulting everything I do or chalking it up to me being dumb or stupid. I'm tired of not being defended when they do this.
The Straw that broke the camels back for me is when Scott, once again, bashed on another thing I made by only saying "it's objectively the worst character ever" without any evidence. No actual criticisms, no actual words that might make me fix the bio or maybe write her the way I was intending on writing her, no just..."She sucks so the thread's going to suck". This is the not the first time he's done this either. The one that really REALLY urks me, is when he said "if I didn't think Dillon would screw it up, I'd be all for a dark thread."
That was super uncalled for, I don't get what I did to you Scott. Oh I write characters a certain way that you don't like, okay are you like Equi, Naru, and ILD and talk to me like a normal human being? No you bash me on the chat thinking I won't see it. I am getting sick and tired of it. I'm getting sick and tired of no one saying anything to him when he does shit like this. I admit, I have problems, problems that the others have talked to me about and yet do you even TRY no...no you don't.
As much as I don't like that Equi relies heavily on characters being jerks for the sake of being jerks like Yotaizan, when he has a problem with me. He talks to me about it, we work it out, and we move on. For example, I explained how BS Kenia's ability in Rulers of the Sea is. He didn't like it, so what did we do? We talked about it, I reassured him that Gadrick was still going to be his badass that he put all this blood, sweat, and effort into, with only one warning towards him not to do. He didn't bash me in the chatbox, he messaged me and we talked. That's not hard to do, because contrary to what Scott thinks, I do listen.
I'm getting sick of him constantly bashing on the way I write too. I write for the tone of the thread. Three Kingdoms and Rulers of the Sea, and to a lesser extent World of Darkness, are MEANT to have over the top violence. They're meant to be a little cartoony and anime esc. It's why in Three Kingdoms we have beings whose power is literally "I can do anything" but they don't do anything at all. Rulers of the Sea was over the top from the get go, the first thing my character did was save a Half Kraken from a circus for pete sakes! World of Darkness is meant to be more serious, admittedly sometimes I feel we confuse serious with a thread full of assholes but I digress, so I write my characters to be more flawed and sometimes even unlikable, like Samuel. Land of the Dead is VASTLY serious and more realistic, so when my character gets hurt he gets HURT, he's wheel chair bound until Christmas basically.
I will admit sometimes I go a little to over the top, and people have rightfully called me out on that. You know what they don't do though? Complain on the chat and never saying a word to me other than "Fuck you" or bash on a public forum that I had to respond to so I didn't come across as an uncaring asshole. I'm getting sick of being pushed into corners like this.
Scott if you ever read this, I want to come to a peace greeting with you. I really do, but I can't take what you do to me anymore. It's not hard to talk to me, not publicly bash me like you constantly do.
