Reyna groaned. It's not like Lon's hard to spot! He could have said something earlier. "Come on, boy. I'll only be a few minutes." no need to make a big deal about it.

Kylee said "You get used to it after a while, but you never do forget the first time your senses change. You're going to notice it more in a second," one of the staff brought two cups for Kylee and Ellie. "Thank you" they waved and walked away to do work elsewhere. "Go ahead, start slow though, it's your first time drinking..." she didn't mince words "Blood." She sighed :"It's not human, I think it's..." She took a sniff "Yeah, it's deer." 

Luger knew that he still had a job to do and wrestled the Elk to the ground, to break off a tree and throwing it in the direction of the fleeing heard as they backed away in terror. He smirked as the titan went to ram him, but Luger was to fast and grabbed him by the antlers landing on the things back. Luger kept an eye on the herd as the Elk obviously started to try and buck him off. He can have his fun, sure. However, this was still a hunt and a pretty good harvest if they get all the herd. 

Dane heard crashing in the distance but it didn't matter, probably some overzealous hunt going crazy. He had far more important things to do. 

Like clockwork, Rosaline picked up a new response letter. 

"Queen Rosaline, 

Thank you, once again, for attempting to undo the barrier. Listener at the entrance made sure to let me know. As for current events, I apologize but there is not much I can hear from under the castle. Our expansion under the island is not that far, only a few extra rooms and a pen for underground livestock. 

We will keep our ears open if we hear anything that relates to the attack, but in our current predicament, it will be difficult.

Sophie, having already been paying attention to Zephyr earlier, caught his quick hesitation. That was...weird.

"Aye, whatever, I can still give ye what she asked for," the baker grumbled.

Mira glanced at the scene but stayed quiet for now.

"So this is...real," Ellie said quietly.

Once everything calmed down, zephyr looked to Sophie. "You haven't ordered yet, have you?"

"Much appreciated sir." Henn looked back to the others, waiting to see if any other orders happen.

Aleks continued taking down the elk, one-by-one. Any that strayed were taken out first, until he could funnel them in and take out several in a fell swoop.

Reyna came back in to get the meat pies for Lon and herself.

Dane looked around and noticed a tree that was close to one of the windows. He let out a pause as he stared at the window...the Window wasn't broken at all? But the reports said he pounced from the ceiling quickly, this was the most logical way inside. There has to be more? Something that he was missing. He would have to go inside of the temple to find out...he put his hands together in prayer saying "Zura forgive me": as he went to go inside. 

Luger barked and growled several times leading the elk to the center, this should be the last shot and then all they would have to do is bring back this impressive hall! 

Kylee sighed with relief as she said "We drink Animal Blood here on the island, most of the time. There is the occasional stranded survivor or some other random small chance event that will lead a human here." She then explained "Animal Blood will satisfy you, Human Blood...when it's around...will increase your power." She then motioned as two more cups were given to Ellie. Kylee wanted Ellie to drink until she was full. To keep her calm 

Rosaline worked heavily, and started with written concerns...she was definitely  behind, hopefully most of these were minor. 

"What do you mean power?" Ellie asked after she had drained another.

Everyone got their food fairly quickly and soon all the apprentices were back outside. "Sorry about Lon, Reyna, does htat happen often?" Mira asked .

"I mean, th' place serves food." Henn remarked. "People don'e normally buy food that's got wolf hair onnit."

Aleks tried wiping his bloody talons off on the grass, to no avail. "Yep, gonna be a mess to drag back though." He pulled out some rope from his satchel, tying the legs of all the animals together so that he could start dragging the entire herd back. If he was lucky some people would grab some on the way back to help out, but if not he'd just count it as a workout.

Reyna found a nice spot near the group to be closer to Lon, but not so far away that she didn't look like she wasn't apart of it. "I guess you got a point, but other stores get kind of mad about Lon too." she placed down the meat pies she bought for Lon that the wolf happily started to go wild on. "I get it...wolves are scary to most people..."

Atir looked at Dane as Dane explained "The Interogation period has stopped for now, the proper investigation shall begin." He looked around for signs of the struggle and asked "Did you clean up the mess?" 

"No, I haven't had time." Atir admitted sheepishly. "It's been hard to move lately, and our Matrons have made it very clear that I should recover before fixing the damage." 

"In this case," Dane said looking at her "Don't beat yourself up." he looked at the small trail of ash from the recovery of Taylor's body and went to work. 

Kylee went neon red "Ye...yeah..." she admitted sheepishly. "I just didn't want to explain the uforia since the first human I ever drank out of was...well...you." she let out a heavy sigh "But I guess I can...use myself as a good example. I've never felt my senses be as heightened as they are right now. I'm hearing things that I don't normally hear unless I'm in the room, I'm having difficulty adjusting to my new sight, and I never was able to tell what animal was our blood glass, until today." She sighed "But the strangest feeling is...I feel very close to you, not in a lovers way, but like we've been friends for years. I don't know if it's just me, part of the process, or maybe it's just Lady Zura's will, but I think we'll be pretty good friends." 

Luger walked past Aleks...at first, he then stopped and looked at Aleks frantically trying up the haul they got. That is not a one man job, and Aleks did a majority of the work, Luger's goal was clear and he achieved it. He wanted to play around with the titan on his shoulder, it looked like it would be fun. Getting food for the heard was a bonus... Luger walked up to Aleks and gently laid down his prized titan. He got the rope be brought to tie some extra prey to help Alek's bind the rest. He looked at Aleks and asked "How much can you carry?" He explained "If I'm right, the Titan I got and the prey you mostly caught should weigh about the same." He looked at his target "He's got some meat on those bones." He looked back to Alexs "My gift from Lady Jezelda had a tighter grip on large things like this. If you can get the Titan, I think I can get the hall." 

Sophie slid in next to Sorrel, across from Zephyr.

"You know you can sit over here, Reyna," Mira said, indicating the open spot across from her and next to Henn. "I picked this table because it was a little out of the way and there was room for Lon to lay down."

"What stopped you from killing me completely?" Ellie asked as she turned back to her glass.

"So what else're we wantin' ta' do? Gotta work off this food." Henn asked the group now that they were settled. "Still wantin' ta' check out what tha' woodcarver's doin', but I kin do that on ma' own time."

"Nah I got this, let's get a move on, can't spend all day here when ya got a girl to go see." Aleks joked, beginning to pull the herd behind him.

Reyna said "I've been meaning to check the Jewler's down the road... I need to do some window shopping for a project I need to do."

Luger turned red and said "That's not...uh..." He sighed "Okay, just know I offered "deciding to end the conversation there as he took his titan trophy towards Castle Jezelda 

Kylee said "That will to live in your eyes...now that I look back at it with my new sight...it's kind of inspiring. You should have been dead when my friend Luger and I found you." She shook her head "I'll just chalk that up to the will of Lady Zura."

Luckily enough there were some marks on the floor that were clearly left by some sort of blade on the ground. The problem is, that's still not a lot to go on since a lot of Vampires in the castle use bladed weapons. Plus the attacker could have used one to try and be quick about the situation. There should still be more to investigate however. At least there is something...even if it wasn't much...it was better than what they had going which was nothing.

"What kind of project do you need a jeweler for?" Sophie asked Reyna.

"You know the docks will always take ya on," Sorrel said to Zephyr with a chuckle.

"Inspiring?" Ellie asked, not really sure how it could be.

"Do ya 'ready have the jewel?" Henn asked. He could at least surmise they wouldn't provide the expensive gemstones for her.

"Perhaps, but I don't know if the guild could handle two of us smelling like fish." Zephyr stated with what seemed like a completely serious face, though he was likely joking.

"Alright guys and gals, let's give the butchers some work to do!" Aleks called from the entrance, not wanting to drag all the dead carcasses inside. As people started coming to help bring them in one-at-a-time however, he went about untying and carrying inside two at a time.

Rin sat upon his throne, hands intertwined as he deliberated. He had been like this for nearly 30 minutes, plotting ahead for the future.
