Frost was slowly realizing that he was stuck on this airplane for hours and was getting restless already. He had to keep reminding himself, it's all for Peridot.

"Alright, that works-" Ken was interrupted by a woman carrying a dog, turning to look at her. "Hello!" Ken tried to remember this woman's name since she spoke as if she knew him, but he couldn't even recognize her. "Sorry, if we've met before I'm afraid I don't remember your name."

"Yep, we sure are. More importantly, what happened to your dog?" Ken asked.

“It’s...not my dog, I rescued it from a buncha dick kids,” Athena answered, looking down at the dog worriedly. “I’m also kinda running cause I’m half Velkar and I used my powers to save it,” she added quietly.

Peridot’s eyebrows raised. A half breed?

Athena watched with wide eyes. She never realized that light magic would have healing properties too. The puppy barked happily and licked Athena's chin. "Come on, we'll talk at my place," Peridot said, gesturing for them to follow her.

"Alright, lead the way miss Peridot!" Ken stated, moving to follow.

Ken looked at his luggage, confused. "But I am- Oh, right, I getcha." Ken stated, the orb placing the luggage on the ground and disappearing. "Sorry, it just makes my luggage so lightweight that I forget its even there sometimes." Ken stated, his smile doing its best to stifle a laugh at his own joke.

"Agreed." Ken replied, ready to go again.

(I'm gonna say that Peridot would've dropped them off at her apartment and go to the airport to meet Frost, if we wanted to move things along)

As they waited in the common room of the apartments, Ken was boredly looking under couch cushions and even the couches themselves. He was hoping to find something interesting, but so far this had been a boring wait. "Athena" as the other girl called herself, wasn't really humoring Ken with much conversation, so he was just trying to occupy himself.

"What were you expecting?" Ken asked as he stopped looking under the couch, shifting to sit on his legs to talk to Athena.
