"Can do. What kind?" He asked.

"Older?" The barkeep fished up two, putting them on the counter. "Not the oldest I've got, doubt you'd be in the market for that. Twenty gold each."

"Actually I've noticed something in your swordplay" Ivan commented. "Something is on your mind blocking your strikes, only your talent makes it look natural. However, eventually someone will pick up on those subtle weaknesses"

Megan just glared at him and kept walking "My business is my own. I didn't ask you to tag along"

Ivan smirked "But I am anyways. Hey...at least I'm not Lady Xiluhr...she followed Lord Nocturne everywhere when he stayed in Arenith"

"To the library," Ana agreed, putting her wine bottle in her pack.

"Please stop making comparrisons to me and him" was a simple request from Megan as they kept moving.

Ivan asked "Are you ashamed of your legacy?"

"Of course not!" Megan quickly said as Ivan paused the girl walking forwarrd after that like nothing happened.

There was a brief silence as he said "Okay...do you want me to leave you alone?"

"What was your first clue?" Megan snarked.

"I need your help. It's on the way to the Dragon Lands." Ivan stated "My...siblings have been captured, Vampires are pretty rare and they go for a fair price on the Black Market" was Ivan's statement. "Xiluhr is not the only one who likes slaves" He then stated "I know where they are camped, it's on your way and I ..."

"You were hoping for my help" was Megan's comment. Damn him.... "Okay"

Ivan paused "What?"

"You should have just said that from the beginning, lets go save them" she said motioning for Ivan to lead the way.

Ivan smiled and said "Thank you" and began to lead her.

“Ambrosia?” Ana asked, just as the kind lady who gave her bread yesterday turned the corner.

Ambrosia heard her name, and saw the unhappy man from the bar, and the sad elf with him. “Yes?” She asked, her basket with her. She was making her rounds once more this morning. The elf girl looked at her, suddenly wary.

“Oh that’s no issue. You’re too kind,” Ambrosia smiled. “Do either of you need a little pick me up?” She asked, gesturing to the basket.

Ivan and Megan broke out into a run, Ivan kind of surprised with how well Megan was keeping up. Even in daylight, vampire speed is still better than a human, yet she keeps catching up so easily. He then paused as he felt the sun burning him a bit. They needed to get this done, and him in shadows, fast!

(You know apart of me realyl wants to knwo Ana's opinion on Nocturne's vast bloodline. Guess we'll have to wait till she finally meets Megan XD)

Megan saw Ivan slowing down and then pushed him under a tree. She simply said "Where are they? You oreally should be sleeping."

Ivan paused and whispered "Nearby...just keeping going where we were going"

Megan said "i'll save them, Ivan. You have my word"

“Of course!” Ambrosia said, her smile not fading. “If you need anything, just stop by my shop, or temple, okay?”

Ana took a bite of the bread, and again just felt...better. More sure of herself. A goddess who’s powers were the uplifting art of food, what an interesting thing.
