“Kandor isn’t... closed to visitors, and Xiluhr rarely leaves her palace. It’s a popular place for trade of all sorts, including secrets. They don’t want to be wholly cut off from visitors so they have to make it palatable,” Ana said.

Ana looked over to Troy, and nodded. "I will," she said quietly, still visibly shaken from the illusion. "It'll take a few days to get there, at least."

"That gives me a bit of time to wait out the muscle pain I'll be feeling when I wake up in the morning." Troy remarked.

"Hm?" Troy thought over it for a moment. "When the townspeople attacked me, they looked healthier and more active than they apparently were." He stated, not explaining anything else.

"It's...nothing big. Just a small town at the edge of the forest," Gilly said. "I had...just started to make friends when I got captured."

"I'm just trying to think if I remember a God of Illusions or Hallucinations," Ana said.

"Seems like there's a god for everything these days." Troy remarked. "I know there's an old story about a goddess of deception, but she was gotten rid of a long time ago by Kaos himself."

Orochi said "Oh" She paused and asked "What's school like?"

“I doubt they’ll find issue with it,” Ana said. “Kandor is not ruled by laws, if a person dies, they assume it occurred with good reason,” Ana said.

“...Homeschool until I was fourteen. I’d just started when...everything happened,” Gilly said quietly. “My teachers were very nice for the few days I knew them though. The library was amazing.”

"Well that seems...In line with what I've been told, I suppose." Troy remarked, somewhat off-put by this new information.

"Ivan, that stuff is dirt cheap for a reason." questioned Orochi. "it's like a gold."

Ivan grew red and said "Stop it, this is none of your concern."

Gilly was even further confused now. Not a rich man? They’d lived fairly comfortably her whole life, she was unsure what he was on about now. Her allowance had been 15 gold pieces a month, what was hard to afford about one gold?
