In a different world of the same name, the Three Kingdoms are not the same. There was one point, many years ago, that the universe split in two, and, from there, a branching multiverse was created. Hundreds of thousands of these different worlds exist, but our focus for this story lies in this world. Allow me to catch you up.
Our split begins with the country Elodus, as it conquered and destroyed the country of Azorah. Though some of her citizens remain, the country of Azorah is no more. For a time, it was all Elodus, until Richard IV massacred the Snow Elf Kingdom. The survivors were forced to flee, and Civil War broke out in Elodus. Alex “Pendragon” Lokada amassed a force to stand up to Richard IV and try to take him down. Unable to control two countries and fight the war, Elodus lost its hold on Azorah and focused on the war, a war that lasted nearly 18 years, until Pendragon was defeated in the capital city.
As Pendragon stormed the castle, it was as though he came face to face with a ghost. He saw a young girl, only 18, with his late wife’s features and his bright red hair. In an instant, he knew this was his daughter, though he didn’t know how. His wife had left him at the onset of this civil war, claiming he put his cause before his family, but he’d had no idea she’d been with child. It was clear though, that the young girl didn’t recognize Pendragon, or have any idea who he was as she fled from him and his attack. When he lost to Richard IV, he told Percival, one of his Knights, to save his daughter, to find out who she was and what had happened. As the revolution crashed and burned, Pendragon’s men that survived fled, beaten and bloody, to fight another day.
Now, things have started to return to normal. Though Elodus has won, they still bear the scars of war. Weakened and depleted, though Richard IV has his sights on getting his lost land back, he has run into a problem.
As the war raged on in Elodus, a lone survivor of the Snow Elf Massacre set out. Syon was only 12 when he watched his friends, family, and life get destroyed by Elodusians. Anger spurred his steps as he sought vengeance, happy to kill all he though to blame, until he encountered Amondel. Amondel’s family had been the royal guard for centuries, and he carried true to that as he guarded the last heir to the throne, Elind. He convinced Syon that they should work together, find the surviving snow elves and rebuild their kingdom. Working in tandem, the two did just that, and after six years of recruitment and then rebellion, the Snow Elves conquered what was Azorah, wresting it from Elodus to make it their own. Now, the Kingdom of Fellethyr stands proud as the one of the Three Kingdoms.
Elsewhere in Hollow… (we haven’t exactly fleshed this out, so we need to discuss what’s going on in Hollow)
Today we are just a month past the war. Elodus is licking its wounds, and Fellethyr is thriving. Richard IV wants his Azorahn land back, but knows he’s currently much to weak to get it back. For now, he’s spending time with his family and figuring out next steps.
