“Will is still here,” Amelia said, nodding to where he was waiting quietly.

"You won't survive, and it won't be a happy time for you." The captain stated very clearly. "There are many here who despise azorahns, and despise the old royal family of Azorah even more. Even if I were to speak on your behalf, I can't stop what happens from there once people learn who you are. Gods help you if the king-slayer learns of it."

Richard stated "Can this wait, Kira?"

Kira was quiet but let out a heavy sigh. "If I must."

Richard stated "Than Will you have permission." trusting the boy's intentions were pure.

Alyssa stood her ground saying "I still want to join...even if what you say is true" She looked at him. "To me, this is the ultimate honor, to protect the people of a land I call home. If they don't trust me at first, I'll earn my comrades trust by showing my intentions are to protect and serve, just like theirs are. And this King Slayer you speak of, I will earn his trust as well. It will be difficult....but doing nothing or giving up because it will be hard will be worse"

"Oh, I..." Will was going to protest, but caught Amelia's look and stopped. "Thank you, Your Majesty," he said. "Princess?" He held out his arm.

Amelia pushed the feeling away, grateful Will had gotten her out of this. "Goodnight Father, thank you for a wonderful party," Amelia said, hugging him tightly before going to Will. She slid her arm around his and let him lead her out.

"Just keep that last name to yourself, at least for a while. Won't be able to make a name for yourself if nobody trusts you from the get-go." The captain instructed.

Alyssa nodded and said "Yes sir" she then asked "Where do I go to begin my training sir?"

(Human's still gonna have limits if she's moving in the snow all day, snow elves are legitimately not effected by the cold because of their evolutionary adaption from regular elves, especially male elves, though they struggle with the heat to some degree, females less so)

It was indeed sitting by the front desk, the guard at the front desk presumably needing to be met with before it's taken back.

(At that point you're just making her equal to snow elves, she's only a second generation human in this cold anyway (since exodus wasn't native) so it doesn't make sense for her to adapt as much as a race that has literally had a genetic shift to handle the cold better than any other race over many generations. I would point out she was wearing actual cold-appropriate clothing as opposed to snow elves who dress very lightly (Sorta like the desert, thin clothing meant mostly to handle how bright it is and all that), but her picture, as with most of the ones you uploaded, are gone. I'll let the fact that its never come up slide though, because I never showed it very well with Syon before either, because he doesn't let that stuff get to him.)

"And you are?" The guard asked. He had a name, but if she didn't know the name he didn't want to just give it to her so she could steal this sword.
