Amelia didn't respond, instead turning and heading off down the hallway towards the training grounds.

"I hear there's two classes," Delphi said. "Suzanne is teaching one, and some elf mystic student is teaching the other. Kind of ironic that they have a witch and a mystic teaching the two intro classes, don't you think?"

Ryker looked up at their entrance and lifted a hand in greeting, even as he winced slightly at the sunlight pouring in.

"Good morning." Percival spoke as he made his way over, Galahad not parroting any sort of greeting as he closed the door and followed.

"Well if you dont wanna associate with one, you can choose the other." Camus pointed out. "Don't know anyone that cares enough about that stuff, but it's probably intentional."

Kira said "I tried!" catching up to her. "But he's dead set on this."

Grim looked at Hypha and said "So what made you join up with the Enforcers?" as Bair kept his running.

"I am much the same," Ryker said. "The stew here is quite helpful," he offered.

"Did you read the welcome scroll? You would know my tardy policy," Suzanne said, watching him as the significantly shorter Delphi ran after him.

"It's before the last echo of the last toll of the bell tower," Delphi said.

"Correct! Already on my good side, Delphi," Suzanne said.

"Yes!" Delphi quietly celebrated.

"I said leave me alone, Kira," Amelia said, keeping on.

Hypha glanced over. "Light magic is frowned upon in Hollow, the land of darkness, and nobody seemed to understand that it's light that makes darkness so wonderful, but Commander Roland did. He and the Enforcers value my magic, unlike anyone else."

"I see." Percival waited until the innkeeper came by and told him, "I'll have a stew, if you don't mind."

"I as well." Galahad chimed in.

"I know, but does that REALLY count though?" Camus asked. "Are you able to tell if we weren't in class at the time?" Camus asked as he continued to hurry ahead.

Kira's eyes narrowed as she barked back. "I'm sorry if I'm trying to help you!"

Grim looked at her and said "I think they'll be inspired by you. Think about it, out of everyone in the enforcers to come with me and Bair on this little journey, Commander Roland chose you. That's gotta count for something, don't it?"

"Are you? Are you really?!" Amelia shouted back at her. "Or do you just think you are?! Just because you think you're doing right doesn't mean that it is!"

"I suppose," Hypha said. "I don't want to be a hero, though."

"I am," Ryker confirmed. "I probably won't be able to help much where funds are related, but I can add my skill."

"Ah, and here I thought that only flattery came out of that mouth," Suzanne said, unbothered.

"At the moment, we're a bit too ragtag to be worrying about funding, we'll just have to survive off goodwill and rebellious spirit." Percival smiled. "We cannot eat rebellious spirit, but it's all we've got."

"It's still flattery, everyone knows the coolest teachers are the ones that show up slightly late so people who're only a few seconds late don't get punished." Camus replied, not actually sure if that was a thing or not.

Kira explained "It's some stupid scheme he cooked up for Will. He wants Will to show how tough he is to impress you." admitting it to Amelia. "He told me not to tell you, but I know your brother's skill. Will's going to get hurt because of this."

Grim said "Brax and I...don't see eye to eye anymore. I had high hopes for him actually. When he was young he started to show signs of being ready to be an enforcer. So I sent him to the Academy and there I saw...I saw so much potential, like I do with Bair. The potential to defy physics." He sighed "But, Brax's problem is that with all his talent, all of his skill, and all of his charisma, he fails at one thing Bair excels at, and it's not Bair's resilience."

Grim adjusted himself letting out a heavy sigh. "He never uses that talent for anyone but himself. Bair for all of his little faults, is doing all of this for the people he loves. Brax only cared about proving he was superior and that never changed even when he graduated."

Ryker chuckled. "Seems like you all have plenty of connections in most towns," he said.

Amelia frowned. "Then my brother is an idiot if he thinks Will is not as strong as he is, and you are too. None of you know Will, that much is clear. I'm not going to say it again, Kira, leave me alone," she said, turning around and running off down the hallway towards the training area.

"Seems like you're trying to make a hero out of him, doesn't that bother you?" Hypha asked. "Heroes live on pedestals, held to standards that are always rising, continual pressures that only increase. And you know that the Enforcers are not as effective when heroes take the limelight, right?" she asked, frowning. "Commander Roland has spent the years since Inora rebuilding reputation because Bair already hurt it severely. I mean, c'mon, his own brother abandoned Hollow because the country celebrated Bair and forgot about Ryker," she put her chin in her hand.

Suzanne chuckled and continued on her way. Delphi was already entering into the building, but she stopped to hold the door open for Camus.

"Ah, if only. We're just now establishing a more extensive network, actually." Percival explained vaguely.

"Thanks!" Camus spoke to Delphi as he ducked under the door in his hurry inside.
