Welcome cadet to the Containment. We are a society that saves the world, from things that they don't need to know about. Yes it's like the Men in Black, or that SCP Foundation...ha ha.
In all seriousness there is a world that is hidden from us all, a world we thought long gone and only in stories. Well, some are stories, some aren't. What kind of things we are talking about? Aliens? Secret Societies? Ancient Artifacts of unimaginable power? Yes....and no. We protect the world from Monsters. Vampires, Werewolves, Dragons, Zombies, yada yada. Our job is to protect them, and keep them safe from the outside world. We do this by establishing a secret city called "Abrigo" Abrigo is hidden from the world by various, powerful ancient artifacts, and it just looks like an ordinary forest. The goal of Abrigo is to provide a life for peace loving monsters to call home, without fear of being shot, stabbed, or blown up. We aren't animals, they aren't required to stay but it's highly encouraged. However for the most part there's a reason why Monsters being real have been rumors and crack pot theories, for the most part...they were .
For the Most Part, that's where you come in. You are a member of Containment. Containment's job is very simple, we deal with the...not so...peace loving monsters. The kind of people who use the Supernatural to abuse others. The kind of monsters who want to behave like those in the stories. Those who would destroy others with their power. Our job..is to take care of them. Either by capturing them and putting them on trial...or if need be...putting them down.
While your primary goal is capture, you will be highly trained for the latter. OUr state of the art weaponry is second to none. Silver Melee Weaponry, Guns with Holy Ammunition. Explosives with Radiation (Don't worry it's safe for you, that's what that shot was for in the beginning), and various other tech. Not only that but some of the monsters of Abrigo are members of the foundation, they will help you with their own abilities. They are your friends, and your partners. Don't ever forget that. All right, now that you got through your job, you should probably know what you will be facing. The good news is that some of the beasts you have read about are myth....
Vampires: Bengs of the night, sometimes cursed corpses, that now only feed on the blood of humans. They need to be indoors during the day as the light of the sun hurts them. Unless they are a Day Walker, a very special sub species of Vampire that exists that can walk on both night and day. However for the most part they are nocturnal.
Werewolves: Sadly no other Lycanthrope exists, Werewolves are Divided into two categories. The Alpha and the Beta. The Alpha, created either by ritual or when a Beta creates a werewolf from his own terrible bite. They are complete control of their transformations, as such, they are the most common outside of Abrigo. However, Beta's are a problem. Created by an Alpha Bite, a high class felony of the Containment I might add, Beta's have no control of their transformations. Luckily we have developed a cure for Lycanthropy for these people...but be careful...some categorize their transformations as bad dreams, and won't believe you.
Undead: The Walking Dead are corpses reanimated either by an idiot trying to play god or a voodo curse. Zombies are...unique., and unpredictable. For the most part, sadly, the humane thing to do is to kill them before they get out of hand. However a few actually manage to preserve their brain, usually the cause of human interference. Those who speak more than one word should be reasoned with. If they can't be...put em down.
Ghosts: Spirits of the deceased that have passed on. Our goal is to humanly put them to their final resting place. Simple as that. Some Ghosts are in Abrigo, but they are very special cases. For the most part we simply help them depart. We do that by helping with their unfinished business, to a point. If they are a malevolent spirit, we force them to go back using sage rituals.
Science Experiments; Oh the joys of this one. We had to lump them together, because there is no reasonable descriptions. These are creatures created by science in the human effort to understand. Which for the most part is fine, there are things even we don't know. However, they usually result in horrible monstrosities, or humans with powers they have no business having. They are wild card...either they are in pain and need consoling, or they need to be put down. It is up to the operative what that is.
Demons: "When there is no more room in hell...." Demons are a highly deadly adversary of what we do. 95% of the time they do not come in peace, and when they escape their literally hell hole, they want to cause massive destruction and chaos. Only the most highly trained operatives are charged with taking them down.
Fae: The Fairy community, is actually quite pleasant. Just don't piss em off, or call them short.
Mythical Animals: You like cryptids like Chupacabra, Loch Ness, Bigfoot, all that jazz. This is rather simple, contain them in the Abrigo Zoo, or relocate them to a most secluded location. If they turn feral and attack...be warned.
Dragons: Dragons are Mythical Animals with actual minds. The Containment and the Dragon Community have a mutal understanding. Abrigo is open to them, but they must stay in their dens. Those who don't...risk being killed.

Abilities: Fear manipulation, hallucinations, increasing fear, only when turned into a monstrous being.
History (Bio): Fear is power, Kyle had that beaten into him for years when a mad scientist captured him when he was younger. This, mad man peformed disturbing, disgusting experiments on Kyle all for one reason. He wanted Kyle to be able to be an aspect of fear itself to find a cure for phobias. To literally make everyone fearless. However the methods were just diplorable, and it turned Kyle into...something.
The Containment came in and killed the scientist and took Kyle into Abrigo. Deciding to stay in Abrigo, Kyle decided to help the Containment. Years of training and experience later, and Kyle is a credit to the force...but many know him as his nickname "Phobia".
It doesn't get to Kyle anymore, closure has finally brought him peace. For now...

History (Bio): Layla is a road for redemption. She is also the quickest promotion in the history of the Containment. Layla used to be part of a demon summoning cult, and only left because she found out that her sister was going to be sacrificed. She ran in panic and accientally found Abrigo. She was terrified when the Containment quickly caught her, but her information saved probably countless lives as the Cult was quickly caught, but...not quick enough. While the sacrifice was incomplete...her sister still was murdered by her own mother. The Cult is either locked away in Abrigo's prisons or exectued. Layla, feeling guilty for her complicity in all of it decided to join the Containment to save more and more lives. Her past is something she refuses to scare between her other squadmates, sans the Commander of the Containment. So the crew just calls her Woman. In her mind...she won't be worthy of her name until she atones for her sins.
