So you mean something like this?
Muerto- Assassin Island- founded by the assassin order in an unspecified amount of time. This is used as the secret base where the Assassin's plan to strike against the Templar order. However, as Assassin's don't shout conspiracies from rooftops, it has the guise of a port island named Ciudad de Oro, named such for it's thriving trade system.
Fort Smith- Britain Island-was founded in 1767 as a military base controlled by Great Britain to have better leverage over the islands. It's a massive island, with a massive fort that the island is named after. It is under British rule and obeys all of it's rules and regulations. For civilians there is a tavern and a small town on the island.
La Bahia- Spanish Island- Founded in 1768 La Bahia was put in when the Spanish realized the British had discovered the new island chains. it was made in direct response, like Fort Smith there is a fort, but a stronger naval presence. They put more emphasis on civilians as the town is what covers most of the island.
Ile d'Amour- French Island- this island was founded by French settlers who fled the French Revolution. They created this island as a way for peace and love, however the Spanish and the English were at each others throats so they made their own forces. One thing led to another and they started to fight as well. There are breathtaking architectures on the island, including a castle that is said to be home to the island's founder.
Mount Victory- American Island- the youngest island Established in 1780, Mount Victory was actually a British controlled island. However, with the fall of the colonies from the British rule, America saw this as an opportunity and rid the island of British rule. on this island is an old fort made by the British that the American's stole, as well as a few local towns on the island.
Insula morților- Romanian Island- the oldest of the islands as it was established by the original dark prince Romania's Vladimir Tepes. Despite the age, this island is mostly very neutral as Romania doesn't want anything to do with the conflict that looms over head. They do have a bunker to keep their civilians safe, and a small military presence. their towns are more like villages
Gōrudo ichi- Japanese Island- when rumors about a chain of secret islands of the world caught the attention of imperialist Japan, the current Emperor at the time grew interested and sent his forces far from home on this island. The other countries know they are here, but they do not wish to fight them as the rumors of Japanese tenacity keep them at bay. the island actually looks like pretty much a mini Imperial Japan in nature.
Shīluò zhī dǎo- Chinese Island- much like with Spain, China came to this island to protect their homes from Japan. Their island is surrounded by a gigantic wall, only allowing certain sailors to come in. This was done to make the place feel more like home due to the Great Wall being so far away.
Isola di eroi- Italian Island- Italy moved to this chain of islands after there was a falling out between its founders and the government. it was established to prove Italian superiority to the world
(help me with these please?)
