"Are you in a rush?" I asked, sitting in my nice and cushy chair, lined with a thin brown fur of some kind. As were the seats of the couch across from the chair.

"Take a seat then. Just make sure you're not dirty, I'd hate to replace those seats." Fenier waved his arm, offering her a seat wherever she wished in the room. There was only the couch anyway.

"That's a shame to hear. Hard working people deserve a good place to return to. What is your home like? Forgive me for my assumption, but I would take a guess that it is not akin to this."

"I see. That is sad to hear. I would offer to help you take up residence nearby, but it sounds like you would find little use of it."

"Ah yes, I suppose that is why you have come. Congratulations on the position as well, how long have you held it?" Fenier held his hand open to receive the letter.

"Really?" I tore open the letter with one of my claws. "How have I never met you then? You seem rather enjoyable to talk with." I began skimming the letter.

"The King Richard of Elodus believes that because I hail from his country he may use me for any message he wants to deliver, despite the fact I have sworn off any citizenship. It is rare I carry messages not from him, if only because he pays the most and I do not wish to find my head beneath a blade," Amelia frowned. "I await the days someone with riches greater than his offer me work, though they are few and far in between."

Amelia bowed her head. "I thank you for your kindness sir. You are much more social than the Doctor at least," She smiled. "It would be pleasant though, that when I visit Her Majesty Veronica for a message, I could stop by to say hello."

"Thank you." She stood, bowed, and took her leave. She thanked the guards and the cat woman who had showed her in, grabbed her dagger on the doorstep, and returned to Shadow. "On we go."

Veronica sighed and got up to get something to eat. Bair having nothing better to do went to find Ryker to give him a hand.

Bair showed up and sadi "Hey Ryker ,need a hand?"

Suddenly the door opens slowly as a red headed woman emerged from it walking across the moat.
