Amelia sighed, her head down for a moment. This was going to require...so much more damage control. "Not now, Alyssa," she said. "Make sure you stay with your guard." Still leaning fairly heavily on Lance, she looked around, taking in what she could. The castle was still incredibly unstable, and it was likely they had lost housing for several hundred people at this point. "What do you think of offering audiences to noblemen and those with larger houses, if they open up their homes to those displaced by this, as well as compensation to make sure people remain fed and clothed? And we can move our operations into the coliseum for the time being?" she asked Lance, looking at him.
"My magical abilities were not to this caliber until very, very recently," Ulathrian stated. "I was in Arcana prior to this. I am the Librarian," they said. "It seems someone has severed the connection between the realms and disposed of the Outer Gods. They drove a spike deep into the Earth, and even now it is beginning to leech magic from the planet. Slowly, very slowly, but it is happening. I would say millennia will pass before magic is gone from this world, but it is on a timer now. If I hadn't taken in the font of mana from it's resting place, it would no doubt be quicker, but I have forestalled it. For now," they said, giving no more clarifying information in explanation.
Azure blinked, trying to process what had been shared. "Font of mana? There was a font of mana?" she asked, standing now.
"There was and still is. The location was unknown, I only knew there were mere moments to save it and went to the best guessed location based on my research. It is good that I am very thorough in my research," they said with a slight nod.
Suzanne laughed before leaning against Thomas. "Alright, couch," she directed him and then settled there. "Seems like a regular day for the Three Kingdoms," she remarked.
"Yeah, we're good here. Just give us a minute and we'll find a way out. I'm going to leave this communication open," Gendry said. The pain had completely subsided thanks to Vannah, but the full body exhaustion was still very much present.
"It's...gone," Jenna said quietly, staring in disbelief. The last bit of her parents, the last little bit of home. Tears cascaded down her cheeks before she turned into Ryker chest, sobbing. He held her tightly, mouth set in a hard line.
