"Yes, I can read maps," Amelia said. None of that was anything new to her.

Ulathrian stood there quietly, watching Teressa and studying her.

A water launched outwards from the ice wall towards Richard, reaching at him like tentacles as Azure suddenly appeared above him, bracing herself against the wall with ice to prepare to jump if and when he tried to dodge.

"Effort means more than anything, I promise," Kallon's mother assured him. "Any particular plans?"

"That will be all. If you need anything of me, just send a message," Ryker said to Felix with a nod.

"Well after the flower idea, I'll probably just stick to doing what she wants to do at the festival. If I see something fun I'll suggest it, but I'm gonna focus on what she wants to do." Kallon explained. An amateur idea, but it wasn't disasterous at least.

As Hilda reformed, Syon swung his hand up and sent a spike of ice up from the ground beneath the ancient elf. Syon wasn't wasting time going for the kill, he had many more to handle as well.

"Mhm." Is all Felix responded to both with, waving back at them ss he walked out the door and left.

Richard was caught of guard and moved inches away from being carved in two as there was a cut on his shirt. That was WAY to close. How is this creature so fast! He needed to remember his counter measure to Bair, and FAST or he's probably not going to get that lucky EVER again.

Inora blocked with her arms but felt a sharp kick to her gut. She started to punch back, she had to beat him...no matter what!

Since Teressa just started that caused her to jump and she asked "What happened? Are you okay?"

Alyssa said "Princess Amelia, may I please say something before you go?"

Audrey took a deep breath and said "I just need to get a few things ready. We're going to have to take a carriage if that's okay with you."

The ice started to spike into Briarwood but his skin oddly cracked and splintered until he shattered into splinters. Hilda rose from a grass patch saying "You're sloppy, is there something else on your mind?" 

“Take a closer look, Kallon, you know this isn’t an illusion..” Ally said.

Amelia glanced back at Alyssa. She was really running out of time to be playing these games.”Yes?”

“I will still take my horse, but I will travel there with you,” Ryker said, his patience running ever thinner, but keeping it well contained.

“Testing your concentration,” Ulathrian said as the books re-stacked themselves.

Azure continue to bear down on Richard, not letting him get a moment to think.

"Hm?" Kallon looked around for a moment before realizing, he didn't detect any magic beyond his own base power. "Oh, I see, I really am here." He quietly remarked.

Gaheris wondered if Alyssa realized Amelia couldn't just up and leave Azorah like that, especially when she was operating on her father's orders for the most part. Sure, she could've handed it over, but her father would've just organized another march into the city.

Syon sighed, annoyed by the elf's cocky attitude. "Fine, you'll get my undivided attention for five seconds." Syon turned, his hands beginning to warble in the air with an abnormal energy. "Show me something good before I rip the magic from your body."

Alyssa started to reflect on her actions the past few minutes and the guilt set in. She was over doing it.

Richard smirked "Finally!" He threw a giant orb of light at Azure as he clenched it the ball bursting into a blinding flash. Richard readied himself, taking a deep breath.

Another Briarwood appeared as he taunted Syon, "Show you what I can do? I already am." another emerged from a tree. "I am a master of my self control and concentration." The one in front of him said "What about you?"

Teressa jumped again, getting kind of annoyed. What was the point in this? It's not like she was deep in meditation she was literally just starting! She took some deep breaths trying to keep a level head, even if it was wet at the moment

Audrey said "Okay, I underst..." She paused a bit hearing that "Excuse me? What did you just say about the Enforcers?"

"While I can admit some of the others got overly involved, for the most part we haven't been," Ally said. "Most of the issues in the world was of the inhabitants own makings." She needed to prepare herself, for he wouldn't stay there for long.

Amelia hadn't fully left, standing in the hall as she rubbed the bridge of her nose. "I'm really gonna need your help with this one, Gaheris," she said to him quietly as he settled into place.

Azure closed her eyes, focusing on movements in the snow as Syon had taught her. The moment he took a step, she was on Richard again with the same ferocity as she lashed out at him, ice solidifying around his feet to hold him in place.

Ulathrian nodded slightly. Well, that was a start. But she needed to get the girl pissed off.

"Did he not tell you?" Ryker asked, glancing at Bair. "Do you want to tell her?"

"A small degree of interference can go a long way. I thought you of all people would understand that." Kallon replied. "One little interference is all it took for me to become what I am, after all."

"I'll do my best here. I won't even ask for extra breaks until it wears me down." Gaheris joked, trying to keep a positive attitude. "You certainly chose an interesting representative for Azorah to train, though."

Syon sighed. "Let me guess, this was all part of your plan or something?" He asked, boredly staring at Briarwood. "Get on with it already."

Briarwood said "Actually, this wasn't part of my plan at all" he weakly laughed "I'm laughing at something else, actually." As he leaned back spears came flying at Syon from the side while he was distracted.

Inora tried to stand up but she couldn't move, spent. Is this really all she could do?"

Alyssa just took a deep breath and went to grab a book to relax.

At first it was a little easy to try and drown out the little pain, however the closer and closer it got to her sensitive ears, the more Teressa started to twitch, her concentration clearly broken but trying her damndest to regain control, until she snapped and grabbed the fly. Looking at the buzzing nat twitch in her hand she paused as she realized this was part of her problem, it's not just the distractions it's the anger. Instead of killing it, she let it go and tried to go back to meditating, trying to enter her mind and free it from all distractions. 

Bair looked away at that as Audrey was beyond fuming. "Bair, Ryker worked his ass off trying to get the Enforcers from Police and Military to just Military. It was the biggest accomplishment in Hollow's military history since Veronica made you a Licensed Vigilante." She rubbed her head "I really should just stay at my Dad's for now and let you wallow on your own but quite frankly Bair, even with this security, I don't want you to be alone. I don't want you to justify any of this. What Amelia did was bad, but you acted way worse, and did FAR more damage. "

Audrey went to leave tired of taking up Ryker's time, as she turned her head "When you get off house arrest, you better kiss the ground Veronica and Ryker walk on, because if it wasn't for them...you'd be dead."

"Mm, no," Ally agreed, looking at Kallon as he appeared. She stood in her childlike form before him. "It's quite the new situation for me, not knowing what's to come."

"That I've yet to gauge," Amelia said. "They did follow Elizabeth with quite a bit of loyalty, though."

Ryker sighed quietly, nodded to the guards standing at the doors, and followed after Andrea.

Azure didn't have time to gloat, however, returning to the crisis at hand with a quickness and a fervor she had honed these last few years.

Soon, the temperature in the tower dropped to a chilly temperature, enough that even the owl was ruffling his feathers. All sounds seemed amplified, like the bubbling liquids on Ulathrian's table, muted laughter from outside, a whistling wind through the windows, it was as though every sense was suddenly heightened in an overwhelming sort of way.

"That's the fun part about being mortal. We don't know what the future holds, so we get real good at being unpredictable." Kallon shrugged with a friendly smirk on his face. "Sending a fake, time-wasting prophecy back in time to give me the element of surprise in a second reality? Even I couldn't have predicted I'd do that. But that's the only explanation for such a thing, isn't it? If you had sent it, you would've just told yourself who to kill and when. But deception comes naturally to us mortals, it's part and parcel to the reality we've had to live in." He went to raise a hand, but stopped and began thinking. "I wonder if that message was sent out of spite, desperation, or simply to make my job in other realities easier." His eyes turned toward Ally again. "What do you think you did, to force me to do that?"

"Hopefully most of that plague has been cut out of the city at this point, though." Gaheris remarked in turn. "Can't imagine a dedicated follower to Elizabeth's ideals wouldn't die fighting."

Just to make sure, syon froze and shattered Briarwood's body before moving on to the rest of the members in attendance. The collapse of the other realm was now complete, so the hundreds sprawled across this wide arena were all that were left to handle. Any that didn't escape, there was nothing he could do for them.

Inora stumbled up, clearly stiff and in pain as she stumbled forward a bit, but forced herself to stand up. "I know..." Inora said with a sigh "I just...I wanted to repay a kindness by at least trying to be better." she admitted as she whiplashed a few more criminals. Thankfully they were weak, because the exhaustion was clear on her face. "And, I want to...be able to keep trying." facing the last of the enemies 

Teressa tried to get back to position but she couldn't help but shiver. She hated the cold...she really REALLY hated the cold. The fire did nothing...her focus was going back and forth and she was trying honestly to but it was so distracting. Her teeth began to chatter as it just got worse for her.

Audrey said "I can't wait for the wedding," saying something good for once on this journey "It's going to be the biggest event this place has seen since well...the reception of the last wedding."

Morgan was busy helping one of the kids, as she felt relaxed for a moment, a thought entered her mind...with everything going on with Bair maybe it was time to finally better herself...maybe she should use her shadows to check on Crystal...see how she was doing. She shook her head, that was an invasion of privacy, she swore that off, that was not the life she wanted to live

Alyssa turned the page in her book, a nature book about the Wildlife of the Three Kingdoms, it was pretty new to the library and she wondered if it was biased towards Azorah given that it was here.
