"Better, still tired and hurting, " Mark looked up.

Apotheosis rushed for the twins, delivering several powerful kicks. The twins dodged most, but Erin cross blocked one for Meryl and was thrown clear away by the blow.

Charlotte watched the two quietly.

"And you? You look a lot better at least,"

It was like a tank barreling towards her. He was a tank. She ducked under his arms, sliding between his feet as she grabbed his ankle, using her forward moment and surprising strength to try and flip him. Or at least trip him a little.

The momentum counter was enough to trip Apotheosis, who landed roughly on the ground. The twins quickly moved in and secured the "kill" by both putting a fist to his neck.

Helen stood up, looking down at App.

Mordred nodded. "This one is taking good care of me."

The twins backed up beside Helen as Apotheosis jumped up and faced them, visibly happy. "Excellent work Helen! Leg counters are something the twins never seem to get the grasp of, somehow. But you three together are clearly very dangerous, even without your powers! Now, one more controlled fight, or weapons out?" He asked. The twins looked at Helen. Clearly, since this was her first time, she got to make the call on if she was ready or not.

Helen grinned. "Powers."

Mordred smiled. "We're taking it slow."

Gabby raised her eyes. "That's insane."

"It'll come one day, " Mark teased, settling back.

Charlotte turned another deeper shade of red.

"All right all right," Mordred waved their questions away.

Helen nodded. She didn't have her fighting knives but she knew the places to jab. And she could become a tornado if she wanted to. Pace yourself, incapacitate, let the twins deliver the kill.

Mark laughed, but said nothing else.

Charlotte ducked, shaking her head.

"Ah, sorry, love, " Mark kissed her hair quickly.
