Charlotte shook her head. "We trekked through Siberia, took a ship over to the edge of the North Pole, and hopped onto the edge of the North Pole. It was just a five of us ranking rogue hunters, bored to no ends. At that time, it was night time for the majority of the day, perfect for us. Within two weeks in though, we had endured a terrible blizzard, crevices where we lost one of our own on the way, and the temperature had plummeted to a degree that even we couldn't stand. But we were halfway there. There was no turning back at that point, so we continued. Our supply of blood had ran out by then, so we lived primarily on any unfortunate polar bears or any elk wandering too close to us. Everything was a distance of blinding white, some plants grew here and there, but it was almost the same as desert, without the heat. We swapped childhood memories of how Santa would be living at the North Pole and what we would say to him. When we did reach the center of the North Pole, we were quite disappointed when it was just a few scientific structures that the humans had put there for their experiments. Needless to say, the humans that lived there suffered our anger."
