"Agreed." Christian replied with a nod, "We don't know how many of them there are either." Although he then recalled them briefly fighting Corrine's army and living to tell the tale, but kept that to himself.
Xin lead her through the doorway into a labyrinth of books. The shelves spiraled so high that in such a dim light the ceiling was out of sight, above rather ending in a black abyss. To the left and right of them was books on seemingly every subject conceivable, all arranged alphabetically. Each section of shelves covered a certain catagory, and after some walking through the maze Xin lead them to the section on the occult, and then narrowed it down to Hell. To Demons of note, then to the 'S' section. He took out a particularly thick book and blew on it, clearing the dust off of the front cover. The book was ancient, yet its bindings were still firm. There was an illustration of Solthurax's visage on the front - his piercing eyes and all-consuming maw well depicted for an inked sketch. Xin gently opened the book and flipped through the table of contents, "There is documentation here of every affiliate to Solthurax we know of, from his ancient generals, to Lady Isacrum and her forbidden children, to Christian. Of every deed he's committed. The only thing we struggle with is deducing where he came from." He handed the book to Corrine.
"I've always been strong enough." Saul muttered, "Now die laughing, you deranged fuck."
Ciroc leapt up, dodging several bolts of various magic and clapped his hands together, launching a large fiery fist at Saul. As it approached, it flipped and raised its middle digit. Saul raised a barrier just in time and winced as the heat dispersed around him. Ciroc started dancing, preparing something particularly nasty before getting interrupted as a conjured chain wrapped around his leg and threw him face-first into the ground. He groaned before vanishing in a poof and reappearing back on his feet. His mask was split near the bottom, revealing a hint of a wide, jagged grin "Tsk. Fine fine. I'll just leave you three to it." He shook his head and vanished again.
"You're only delaying the inevitable." Solthurax sneered, "When you tire, I'm going to slowly tear your wings off before even considering killing you!"
