Corinne felt a bit like a chastised child being carried how she was, and Felicia began to protest, but they needed to get out. Josh hurried ahead, helping keep the way clear, as the castle was rapidly going down.

Christian stepped out of the castle and, once a safe distance away from the violent collapse of it, sat down in exhaustion. He pulled his knees to his chest and sighed as he let himself rest.

Saul stopped a short distance behind the others. He looked back at the quickly crumbling remains of the castle just about visible through the growing cloud of dust and debris, "Another monster dethroned." He said quietly, almost with sceptically.

Yet a good distance away and unnoticed, one tiny wisp of shadow materialised itself and watched the group from the side. It was the servant clad in black armour, one of Solthurax's lieutenants. He alone seemed to have escaped the drag of the rift and remained in this plane. His weapon was absent, however. He simply watched in silence for a few moments before turning to take his leave, melting away into a puff of ash.

"Once everyone's ready I can get us there." Yotaizan stated, keeping an eye on the surroundings as well.

"Which one of you is Christian?" Wry asked, flying around the group and observing everyone. "I bet it's you!" She pointed to Christian, the only one he didn't recognize.

Christian nodded to the strange Fairy, "Yes, Master Xin'll be expecting us now." He went to continue his sentence before cutting himself off and instead turning his attention to the sky. The clouds had since lost their bloody tinge, but now they were finally starting to break for the first time in years untold.

Saul was utterly silent. For the first time in his life, he bore witness to the sun. It was pale, far more dim than anyone from back-then would've recalled amid the lingering darkness that had yet to disperse. Energy crackled around his fists as his heart rate accelerated and he unconsciously took a step back. He'd been told of what this thing allegedly was in his childhood - yet he couldn't shake the paranoia it could be some kind of contingency plan from the now-banished Solthurax.

Yotaizan nodded to scanlyn, not minding the sun as he had seen it plenty before the darkness stayed. "I doubt we'll be here much longer, just make sure they don't cause trouble."

"Woah hey, its really warm again!" Wry called out, leaving the fortress to stare directly at the sun. "Don't stay out too long kids, that thing hurts your human skin!" It called back.

"That's a question for Lydia," Josh stated matter-of-factly.

"Lead the way," Felicia said to Christian.
