“What will you get up to, then? Surely nothing as riveting as spending time with me,” Skyla said.

Tyler sighed, rubbing his forehead. “Actually, no,” he said. “I don’t want to go on vacation. I hate vacations. They’re wastes of time. Sorry,” he said, standing up and pushing away from the table. “Excuse me,” he added, before walking behind the counter and to the stairs that led up to the apartment above the cafe. He headed into his room and then further into the bathroom, locking the door behind him.

"Oh nothing even close to this fun, it's back to logistical work for me." Brett replied with a smile at Skyla's joke.

Sapphire sighed and said "Okay."

Kim nodded and said "ANd it needs you too. You can be something more important than you know"

Sapphire paused at that and asked "What?"

"A lot of people in this town are either out of work, working for the Black Dirt, working for Andy, or working for random crooks to get ends meat." Kim pointed out "Your Casino, it could be a place where they can earn a good wage...and live happily. Get out of the life like you did"

Sapphire leaned back a bit whispering "You know, I never thought about that. Facina's not going to change overnight but if people make the actual effort to fix all the bad elements..." She sighed "Then I think we can at least make a better Facina."

Kim said "And that's require a lot of help, but we could do this...if we all work together"

"Well, if you ever need help, let me know," Skyla said. "I was a second too, once."

Davis knocked twice on the bathroom door, and Tyler jerked it open, glaring at him. Davis held out an envelope and a glass of water, eyebrows raised. "Fuck you," Tyler muttered, taking both as Davis smiled.

"Love you too, sir," he replied, watching as Tyler opened the envelope and took what was inside, swallowing it back with the water, which he quickly finished.

"Pretty sure Kenny'd have me killed if I accepted that offer, so I'm afraid I'll have to decline." Brett chuckled. "The offer is appreciated, though."

Kim and Sapphire went back to their talk as Andy looked at Pampers who shook his head "Nothing?" Andy whispered to his right hand man.

Pampers sighed and said "No, nothing concrete."

Andy just kept a cool head and said "Keep listening."

“Kinda,” Skyla said. “No one was really allowed to know who the Grand Master was except the higher ups. There were several pairs of supposed Grand Masters and their Lieutenants, all amongst the elites, but it was only those pairs who knew that Aska was the real Grand Master. Sort of a life insurance policy kind of thing. Nobody can plan an assassination on the big guy if they don’t know which one is actually in charge,” Skyla explained.

“Are you really planning on leaving the jail?” Davis asked, and Tyler shrugged. “I dont know yet. Maybe. Maybe not.”

Brett considered commenting on how poorly Aska maintained such a secret while she was here, but knew it wouldn't sit well with Skyla. "And it worked?" He asked instead.

Elizabeth approached Kim and Sapphire as Andy facepalmed, losing track of her. Elizabeth hugged Kim who smiled and hugged her back. "Aww, you're sweet Elizabeth."

Elizabeth said softly "Sorry about Uncle Jason."

Pampers looked at Andy who was at least relieved it was Kim and Sapphire she was talking to right now.

"Oh, she did anything to get what she wanted," Skyla answered. "She made money any way she could get it, and had a good deal of blood on her hands by the time she was a captain. She killed the Grand Master not long after and took his place, bringing me up with her."

"A schemer, then. Makes sense, given our interactions with her." Brett replied, content to leave it at that unless she had further comments.

Sapphire said "Okay?"

Elizabeth just out right asked "Is it true you have friends in the FBI?"

Andy practically double taked as Pampers chuckled slightly. Sapphire, not thinking anything of it, said "I do actually, one of them used to live in Facina. His name is Agent Orion Clams. He's a really nice guy, always had my back."

Kim took note of that and Andy especially took note of that. Regardless of if Sapphire was telling the truth about David, she had FBI Contacts.
