angelsvsdemon.boards.net/post/16443 Solthurax finds himself before a deity greater than even himself. A being of nearly unlimited power with control over disharmony itself. Far greater than the highest powers in Hell which were required to eject him into the mortal plane. Solthurax fights for Kahn’s side to return to his home world with the power to overthrow his ‘master’, Edward and destroy his enemies once and for all. Once he has achieved this, he will rule over the mortal plane as it slowly turns into his vision – the 8th circle of Hell. Solthurax is ruthless and only stays his wrath from his allies because it conflicts with Kahn’s and his own interests. He seems to have an uncanny knowledge of the workings of this world.
Extra: Is still a fearsome foe in his ‘Zadyn’ form although limited from his full potential. Both forms bear Kahn’s brand.

Abilities: Terrifying grasp over sorcery. Asserts control over all elements. Warping, levitation/flying. Can conjure a sword for a degree of combat against melee attacks but prefers to bombard with magic from afar. Much more durable/fast/strong than a peak human on account of his genetic modifications. Swordplay is decent and capable of defeating most simple beings/characters but becomes very defensive/less effective versus specialised melee fighters (such as Noctixmo). Sometimes experiences premonitions, but these are often involuntary/reflex-based. He can try to encourage them to occur but cannot force them upon himself. Xhort’s human origins mean holy/unholy types of damage do not have a heightened effect on him (For example. Holy on Demons, hellish on Angels) – but they will still hurt.

Xhort was a human born through the brutal war between Angels and Demons. Earth was ravaged into a post-apocalyptic wasteland by the conflict, forcing mankind into hiding and near-extinction from the crossfire. Xhort was a gifted human who had an affinity for magic, using it to help him and his tribe of survivors get by in the wastelands.
He pursued research throughout his middle age and elderly years, becoming an ingenious scientist. He became spiteful towards Angels and Demons alike as he witnessed what they had done to the world and his kind. Driven by this thirst for brutal justice, Xhort sought means of removing the two (no longer at war) races from the planet and once more putting mankind on top. He managed to convince many humans to scavenge armour, equipment and weaponry and serve under him and his cause. His radicalised cult slowly grew into a small army as he conducted operations to capture stray Angels and Demons and study them. He subjected them to cruel torture and experimentation, learning what made them tick.
Eventually, Xhort cracked the formula.
He inserted genetic material from either races into his own men, creating monstrosities to fight for him and destroy their enemies. Fearing old age would take him before he could realise his vision, Xhort injected the materials of both races into himself - but managed to retain his physical form. He theorises this is thanks to his magical gifts – which became grossly enhanced to astronomical levels upon receiving the genetic enhancements. Being physically in his prime despite his deceivingly elderly appearance, Xhort unleashed his hidden army from nowhere and fell upon both the Angels and Demons with the aid of a rogue Angel (known as Jackson). He forced the Demon queen Regan to submit her throne to him, whilst his colleague seized the Angel throne.
Time passed, and Xhort eventually betrayed his ally, seizing both kingdoms and gaining control over all three planes of existence. He purged nearly the entirety of Angels and Demons and abandoned their thrones – constructing his own to rule above all. He even forged malicious personifications of the Demon Queen and Noctixmo’s negative emotions to serve under him. For some time, mankind started to flourish and oppress the other two races under his rule, until an uprising formed from the survivors of his genocide.
Xhort was thought to have been defeated by these warriors, including queen Regan of the Demons, and Angelica of the Angels. The remaining hybrids of mankind were all exterminated, with the unchanged humans either slinking again back into the shadows, or making peace. Xhort now finds himself in another dimension all together, fascinated and inquisitive. Xhort seeks to harness the power from triumphing in this dimension to return to his home world and reinstate his control over the three planes.
And this time, he will make sure the other two races are rendered extinct.
Extra: Despite his passion for human supremacy, Xhort does not value the humans of Pawns as they stand in the way of his goals – and are not ‘his’ humans. He only cares for mankind in his home world and is prepared to destroy humans in this world if necessary.
Xhort strongly believes that the negative emotions are what drive an organism to ‘survive’ and has even succeeded in creating a consciousness from a being’s negative emotions alone. Examples of this are Carnifex and Invidia – fierce warriors he created to enforce his rule and help him destroy his opposition.
He is a monstrosity formed of both magic and science with a collected, calculated personality. Xhort has a very subtle desire to rule over this world too, but if given the choice would rather rule over his old dimension.
