Seth walked towards the edge of the building and then took one step more. He fell for a few moments before sinking into his shadow rather than hitting the ground. He emerged from it slowly, quietly and looked back up at Bart as he descended. Slow.

Frost nodded at that and said "Umm, Peridot, before we head to off to bed though can I speak with you in private?"

Chillz stated over the mic. "Look for tire tracks as well, don't forget he rides a modified Chopper too." He then said "I'm searching frequent hang outs of this monster"

"Huh?" Ken was confused. "Wouldn't that just look like we have a lookout or something? I'm just gonna wander aimlessly for a bit, I don't plan on using my velkar stuff at all."

"Well...just...be careful, okay? Do you have a phone?" Peridot asked.

Athena was itching to hop in the shower. It had been ages since she had a decent one, not some hurried truck stop or bus stop rinse off.

Frost held out to Ken a receipt "If you're going out can you get the items on this. I'll give you the money for it"

"I'll follow the roadside, look for any back ally or garage that someone might've took the bike into. You should check the road itself, figure out if the bike drove off again or if it was pushed. If you can see the tracks on the road, he must've pushed it. If he drove it would've thrown snow behind the tracks, onto the packed snow underneath. From there we can follow the tracks he made, likely off-road. The blizzard caused a lot of crashes and road blockages, so traffic around here should've been low enough that the bike tracks persist." Bart explained, stepping away once he finished his explanation.

Ken took the receipt anyway. "I'll find a nice trash can to throw this in far from here, don't worry." He stated, fishing out a slide phone colored a light purple and cracked in several spots along the screen. "I can still call and text, don't worry."

“Put your number in my phone before you run off then,” Peridot said, handing Ken her own as she turned to Stephana. “Uh, yeah, in the closet next to the bathroom,” she pointed.

Athena headed for the closet to help, because a shower could come after.

"Alright BT, choice of a lifetime here."

Stephana pulled the closet doors open, inhaling the smell of fresh linens.

"Yellow sheets? Or Blue sheets? You only get one shot at this, so make your decision wisely."

She put exactly seven mental dollars on BT going for the yellow sheets.

Ken did so, entering her number into his phone and vice versa. "I won't be gone that long anyway since it's getting dark out, but there you go." He offered the phone back.

Peridot nodded to Ken before turning back to the kids. Three kids. She hadn’t expected three parentless kids to show up. “Why don’t we get you all settled in your room?”
