Ken observed them for a moment as he put his phone away before heading out.

Eye rolling was basically applause for Stephana. She grabbed the blue sheets with glee.

Although...Peri just wanted to do something nice for the kids. She was getting a Motherly vibe off the Princess. No need to push her away from the kids.

Actually that might say a lot about BT. She made a mental note of it, which would probably get lost alongside all of her other mental notes.

Frost went to the Kitchen and started to do the dishes to help clean up. It's the least he can do.

Athena deposited her bundle of sheets on the couch and walked with them to the rooms. “So who’s getting top bunk?” She asked.

Peridot entered the kitchen, shutting the door quietly. “What’s up?” She asked, grabbing a towel to dry.

Bart gave it a moment before stepping out as well. He began walking and scanning the ground for tire tracks that led off the road.

Ken looked around outside, surprised by how dark it was already. Wasn't it noon when he got here? No sun in the sky, he knew he'd be getting tired soon. Time to walk some of that energy off.

Frost said "Thanks" their temperature evening out each other as Frost stated without any hesitation. "I think Shade's alive"

It looked like a regular room, beds and blankets. Ellie brightened up at the sight. "I like it," she grinned.

Abigail stayed silent as she stepped in.

“Well I’ll leave y’all to it,” Athena said. She passed by Max who had yet to enter the room and paused. “Hey, if you don’t wanna crash here just come back out to the living room. Me or Stephana can crash on the floor, alright?” she smiled and then returned to the living room.

“But...why wouldn’t he try to get in contact with me?” Peridot asked, quiet. Shade had been the first one she ever recruited to the cause. For years and years it had just been them.

The beds were made. Stephana gave the sheets one last tug, just to be sure.

"You got the kids settled in?" She asked, laying the hook for the eventual tease.

Frost stated "Not to brag but it took me years to find you and I'm not exactly bad at surviving myself. He took a deep breath "Peridot, he's alive I can feel it. I know it seems impossible but he is alive"
