“So you guys would rather pay money to rent horses, add several extra days to the journey, and not show off, because you think we’re abusing something like that? Oh, you guys are nothing but mounts to ride! Definitely not a part of the crew!” Gilly ranted. “Gimme à break. You guys are so over dramatic,” she huffed, before marching off.

"So...you're going to ride on another dragon?" Gilly asked Orochi.

Orochi sighed "Well I can't fly, so I guess"

Ebony paused "You can't fly?"

"Trade off for spitting lethal poison and extreme burrowing skills. I have the all the abilities of a viper with the strength, speed, and breath weapon of a dragon" Orochi admitted.

Ivan said "Well let's get going. Thank you for this Ebony"

"No umm, thank you. I admit I didn't see this coming" Ebony said a little embaressed.

"Well, like I said, I can relate to your plight" Megan commented "Plus you gave me a break during your round, I'll be honest I think it helped a lot, since I was really tired after Orochi and Jackson. Orochi is a technique fighter like me, so we are both good at counters and using precise strikes to end a battle quickly.

Switich my style to Kenjutsu to play on Jackson's arrogance was a double edged sword. It make him sloppy, but it also make me take a lot of damage, Kenjutsu is very hard to master, it's why I don't use it that much. I'm not really all that good with it" Megan admitted "Ittosu Ryu though, I specialize in, the Quick Draw against prescise spots. Normally it's designed to be lethal, but you know me."

Orochi sighed "Don't remind me, that smarted for a few days. You got some power behind those strike"

"I was up against dragons, holding back was not an option" Megan admitted.

Ivan said "Not that this isn't facinating, but we need to get going. You said the Dwarf mines are unstable, so we better get to them before the collapse and we thne have to go to Kandor"

Ebony locked up "Wait Kandor?"

"It's because you can get really rare materials for the price of a pint of ale at an inn, including what I need for my blade. Plus they have really good blacksmiths there" Megan admitted "I think they're that good to help arm up Xiluhr's forces but I'm not entirely sure"

Ebony started to fly up and asked "What was the Grand Prize anyways? Only our Lord was able to look at it"

Megan said "It's an orb that tells exactly where the Staff of Magnus is. He wanted to give it to me because I was someone he could trust to not really use it, which is 100% true"

Ana watched him quietly. She couldn’t pass judgment. She’d probably do the same if she wasn’t so driven towards this quest.

Once he got his flask refilled with more alcohol, he went back to the table. "Ready to go yet?" He asked while putting the flask away.

"Alright, to the...Emporium? I think it was an emporium." Troy began making his way out.

Megan said "We all ready to roll?"
