Amelia sighed, leaning against the doorway. "Alright, what's going on?" she asked.

"It just this other one! And you kinda...helped make it," Elind said, smiling at him.

"Well now I'm curious, what is it?" Amondel asked, putting the plate and knife hilt to the side.

Emily sighed with relief "Thank you, my Princess."

Elind laughed a little, wiping her face. “I found out today. I’m at about 6 weeks, so another 7 or so months,” she said. “I thought I was putting on weight, technically I was. Baby weight.”

“Don’t stress too much,” Amelia assured her.

"Ah, so much time has passed already and we didn't even know!" Amondel remarked, still excited. "Do you want to announce it, or keep it secret? It will become obvious eventually; We could plan a big celebration for perhaps a week after the child is born? That way you have time to recover and enjoy the festivities once we're sure our child is in good health."

Emily asked "Just...one more question...something's been bugging me." Emily sighed "I Don't want to doubt you, Princess, but are you absolutely positive that you are okay with the thought of being bethrothed?" She rubbed her temple knowing that was a stupid question.

“I suppose you can tell Syon, but that’s it,” Elind said, laughing quietly as she pulled him in for a kiss.

“Would you be, Emily?” Amelia asked quietly.

Amondel kissed her, and as they pulled back he spoke "I think I'll hold off on that actually, he may well be just as protective as I considering his odd tendencies." He joked. "Gods above, we're actually going to have a child." He mumbled, still in disbelief.

Emily was very quiet at that "This doesn't seem like a duty..." before briefly paused at that not wanting to elaborate on that further.

“It is what it is, Emily. I don’t really have a say in the matter. It’s best to just...accept it. That’s what I’ve done,” Amelia said, though it was an utter lie. She hated the idea of it, wanted to run as far as she could away from it, but she had no choice.

“No, and no,” Elind said. “I don’t care what they are, really.”

"Same here, I haven't really been, well, planning for it. I hope seven months is enough time to figure everything out." Amondel picked up his plate, messing with the food in an attempt to try and get his appetite back. His mind was far too focused on other things for him to think about eating at the moment.
