"On top of my ability to read minds and speak to people telepathically, I can also project images and memories into the minds of others if I wish. I can give her Pendragon's last thoughts personally, when she's ready to hear them. I won't force her to, though." Percival explained.
Gene leaned forward. "Because they're her father's dying thoughts, I get it. Can you show me them, though? Just so I know what we're fighting for?" He asked, his voice ever-so-slightly more somber.
"I can, but you know what this sort of thing did to Lamorak's mind over time." Percival reminded his fellow knight.
"I do, but it's just one time, and I want to fully understand how important this is to him." Gene assured the purple knight.
"Then I'll show you afterwards. We should finish this discussion first." Percival ended that topic, the two sharing a nod of agreement.
Brenna quietly watched the discussion, noting how determined Gene looked as he made the request. There was no doubt, no hesitation even when reminded of the possible consequences. That was the man she held a deep love for, the man with such a deep well of care for others that he was willing to take on the fullest extent of this burden, the wishes of a dead man. She only hoped it didn't come back around to hurt him this time, they had so narrowly avoided the worst scenario once already.
"Sarabella or Camus might accompany you, if you need someone to accompany you." Ken suggested. "They're both very social."
"Ohh I see, so this is all about training that guy in secret? What, is he some sorta secret weapon against Elodus?" Kallon asked with a renewed mischevious smile. "Can't imagine this is a charity."
