“Not horrible I suppose,” Ryker conceded. It didn’t come to blows or anything.

Gendry took his sister’s hand in his, squeezing it once. The words to convey his feelings were impossible, but he knew she understood.

“Don’t let honor blind you,” Hypha said, looking at him seriously. “Especially for people who will not return equal courtesy.”

"Not too bad then!" Gene laughed, patting Ryker on the back. "Can't be any worse than our discussion went."

Brenna's free hand patted his arm. "I'll be here. Now clean up, they're coming back soon."

"Not really your problem, is it?" Kallon remarked. "He ran off, I doubt this Morgan person will find him if they can't find you."

"Sorry," Bair said quietly showing his inexperience a bit "I didn't really graduate like Ryker did."

"Bair didn't make it very far in official Enforcer training," Hypha stated. "Since his hero status, he's been more... privately trained, as you can see."

Gendry waved his hand. "People are too nosy, and know too much in this city. Even if you dress down out of your tabards, the only one who's going to go unrecognized is this one," he pointed at Ryker. "And that's if there's no Enforcers training in the city right now." He took mild satisfaction at the visible discomfort Ryker gained. "I have plenty of room, here. God forbid Suzanne gets her hands on you lot." He rolled his eyes.

"You make this Suzanne sound like a problem." Galahad stated in a questioning manner.

"Oh no, my brother just has a rival here in town. They like messing with each other." Gene assured them.

"Oh, I see." Kallon looked at Bair. "A private education kid." He chuckles in personal amusement.

"I know I shouldn't but there are times where I miss him." Bair admitted to the two. "When I get my speed I wanna run around each Kingdom until I find him."

"I want to tell you yes," Gendry said honestly, running a hand through his hair. "I mean, yes. She's fine. But like," he shrugged. "She could crush this city under her pinky finger but she's spending her time as a TA. She's fucking crazy. Be happy she's in Arcana and not outside it. I'd suggest you leave it at that."

"If Ryker hasn't come back, it's for good reason," Hypha said. "Leave it at that. His brother would be more concerned if there was a reason to be."

"Fun." Is all Galahad comments in response to that, seemingly leaving it at that as requested.

"That aside, sounds like we're resting the night here, setting out in the morning. All in agreement?" Percival asks the others.

Galahad nods.
