Mark stood in front of Reyes with his arms crossed and oberseved the New Blood across from him. "You're staying in here, bucko. Not only are you disrespecting one of your covern's elder, you could be cast out of Starlight if you keep on insisting to act this way. You are in Starlight, the second highest covern of the East, it's a privilege to be here. They are in Hyren's, one of the relaxed, laidback coverns. Remember where you stand."

Charlotte was quiet, rolling her empty glass around.

"What do you want to know?" Charlotte replied, peering at the remaining drops in the glass. This was the main reason why she would rather let Antigonus teach the younger ones. They really try her patience.

"Why?" Charlotte placed her glass down and gave Reyes her full attention. *It's not the best story."

"It's about the same as you, but I was bitten by a rogue when I was younger, went rogue myself for about a decade, got educated again, moved here in my late 20's, and Tillman invited me to join before. A decade or two after that, the High Covern wanted me," Charlotte grinned and nodded her thanks when a fellow Starlight gave her another drink. "That's about it."

Charlotte sipped her drink quietly before answering. "I'm only in my 150s. To most, I'm still young."

"The younger, the better," Charlotte watched, swirling the drink again.

Charlotte stopped herself from rolling her eyes. "Starlight is the second highest of all the other coverns; only topped by High Covern. That's why our classes are quite different from everyone else." She nodded.

Charlotte sent back to rolling her drink around. "No, she probably only taught you the bare minimum anyways. There's a lot attached to being a vampire."

"Controlling your thirst when you're around humans even the ones you hate, how to act since you're part of the upper class society now, how to act like a human in order to blend in," Charlotte trailed off.

"Quite a shame I would say. I enjoyed hunting them," Charlotte set her half empty glass down on the table. "You've seen all those millionaires and the rich on the TV? We're part of their circle now."

Charlotte grinned at him after taking a sip from her glass. "It means you have animal cravings within you. One slip of that control, can turn you rogue faster than you can " I want a hamburger. " We are the predator now and humans are our natural prey."

Charlotte watched the content of her drink slosh around the edges. "Why do you think we stopped? They outnumber us anyways, might as well learn how to act like them to not being up the decision. Not everyone appreciates being told that there is a real vampire on the streets."
