Galvin thought for a moment as he pushed the button for the elevator to come up.

She couldn't be an extracted dragon soul, then. She's in far better condition, anyway. Perhaps wherever she came from had creatures that ate at the soul?

But she seems to be from a time similar to this. Are such creatures existent here?

"I see. I can tell you about the dragon souls, if you tell me about your soul." He said, no longer facing her as he waited for the elevator.

"Shall I go first, or you? It does not matter to me." Galvin smirked, but he still wasn't facing her.

"I see. I am sorry to hear that." He said as the elevator arrived, but he didn't move towards it. Instead, he turned to face her. "If there is ever anything I can do to help with such an issue, do feel free to say so."

Galvin thought for a moment as the doors closed. "I suppose I should explain dragon souls, as per our agreement." He thought for a moment. Where to begin?

"Well," he began, "I suppose the name gives plenty away. A dragon soul carries the soul of a dragon within them, more or less wrapped around and within their own soul. The souls of these dragons come from long before my time, when a king incurred the wrath of the dragons by stealing from them. A curse was laid upon our land, so that each year the spirit of a deceased dragon would entangle the soul of a human. However, we have far more control over ourselves than the dragon does, but he is still incredibly powerful. Anyhow," He tapped the small golden amulet with an emerald in the middle, that rested against his chest. "My dragon soul, Gadar-Voljin, is a traitor and killer of his fellow dragons. I use this to contain his power better than most dragon souls can. If I give him full reign, however, he can strike independently from me, and even unleash his full form if I let him." He began to think if he had forgotten any details that may be important. The amulet's emerald glowed a bit now.

"He is. He apparently, unknown to me although it makes sense, can sort of contact your soul, despite you not being a fellow dragon soul. He could tell something was wrong with your soul, but he couldn't tell what the issue was." Galvin replied, watching her curiously.

"Mac?" He inquired.

"Ah, I suppose that makes sense." Galvin replied. Such terms did exist for him.

"Of course. It is not important to our mission at hand. I only wanted to know for the sake of your safety." Galvin smiled as he watched the elevator ding, and the doors open.

Mickey smiled, though it didn't reach her eyes. "Sorry that would be my fault."
