Stephana blinked. She was expecting something along the line of "Two glasses" or "Cup and a half," or "If I go over three I'll start painting the shrubberies with stomach acid."

And then BT shrugged.

"Ah, you're new to this."

Why hadn't she seen it earlier? Ah well, nothing to hold against her. Everyone's gotta start somewhere, and BT wouldn't be the first young soul she'd lured to the Dark Side.

"In that case, we'll have to find them. Just take it slow. I don't think you want to start vomiting in the bushes."

She filled BT's up roughly...halfway. That should be enough to at least get her feeling something, assuming she took it slow.

"Don't down it all in one go." She held her own cup in her hand, waiting for BT to take hers.

"You don't need to act. You just need to enjoy."

She extended her cup out, expecting BT to meet in the middle. "Cheers."

Frost smiled and said "Thanks, Peridot." then went out of the kitchen to check on the kids, finally.

“It was the shrug, wasn’t it?” Athena asked, taking another drink.

Peridot sighed, lingering for a moment, the same dish still in her hands.

Frost went towards the room of the kids he saved earlier to both A. Finally get their names and B. see if their okay.

"Oh course - problem is, that seems like a solid idea when you're sober, but the more and more inebriated you get, the better the idea sounds. Sometimes."

She sipped, letting the wheels turn.

"Once you reach a certain level - which I am not letting us get to, by the way - you just kind of go 'fuck it,' and you decide to keep going just to see what happens."

Stephana paused.

"What happens is never completely positive, but usually memorable."

"Permanently? Like permanent memory loss?"

People were usually more worried about that with the psychedelics.

"Sometimes you can "Black out," yeah. But that's when you drink a lot. Like, I don't have enough alcohol on me to black out, this bottle isn't enough. Maybe if you chugged it all at once, I dunno. Your tolerance could be that bad, who knows."

She took another sip.

"But, like, you can sorta forget things when you're drunk, yeah. Bits and peaces of the evening kind of slip away, the details of something. Most of the big events stick out in your mind, though. You're scared of that?"

"Never said you were dumb. You're kind of the opposite."

Little bit of flattery never hurt anybody.

"And if you've got any more questions like that, I've almost certainly got answers. I've been all over the place."

BT probably wouldn't like how she traveled.

"You got time. Lots of it. Hell, you're only like, what...young?"

Had BT said how old she was? Huh.

"And you don't need to worry about all the "I'll be too old for it" stuff. Big plus there."

Fuck. Good question.

She took another drink. As she came near to finishing her cup, her eyes were slowing in their constant movements, and the sudden twitches also became less and less frequently.

Ah. Now we're feeling it. Fuck, how old am I?

"Uhh...Forty."
