"Job's done." Puer confirmed with a small thumbs up as Kara neared him.

"Normal, nothing much happened." Travis shrugged, still thinking about if anything did happen or not. "I learned what a trellis is, I guess."

"That's great! Did they say when?" Jillian asked, now smiling ear to ear to the point that it actually hurt a bit. Words couldn't express how proud she was of her daughter accomplishing such amazing goals. None she could think of yet, anyway.

Quinn started to drive off wishing that Kira would talk to her but it's like Uncle Garett said...she can't force her. She'll try again some other time.

Kara shrugged. "It's what friends do."

Mickey thought about it. "I think it depends. Knowing more about plants probably helps Lily do more stuff with her powers, but for fire and lightning, there's not much to learn. I guess if I wanted to I could research melting points, but you know I don't usually use my powers Hun," she answered. "Your dad might have a better answer."

Liz laughed. "Okay, okay, I'll keep that in mind. Does this mean you'll be my Mom-ager?" she asked, teasing.

"Agreed." Puer says no further, still not the most competent at conversation.

"Okay, I'll ask him." Travis drops the subject, satisfied with the answer. If anyone was the type to study up on their powers, it'd probably be dad.

Jillian exhaled, smiling at the joke. "I think you'll do just fine without me, but I've always got advice if you need any."

Quinn started her car and drove off

Liz hung up after a quick response of "Love you too." she let out a squeal and danced around the living room. "I DID IT!"

"That's good! Well, halfway through the week. You still have that sleepover this weekend, Allie?" Mickey asked, and Allie nodded. "Yeah, I have her mom's number to give you too." Mickey smiled. "Even better, thanks hun. Travis, any updates on track and field?"

"Yeah. Marcus has made a nice place," Kara agreed. "I thought I'd go crazy before he offered me the job there."
